La Fleche Wallone is the second race of the Ardennes triple, and has historically tended to be the most predictable - the presence of the Mur de Huy at the finish of the race meaning that most of the top puncheurs tend to keep their powder dry. However, such an event tends to favour those with a strong sprint so don't be surprised to see attacks from those who don't fancy their chances in a sprint - and even from the pure climbers who have decided to take on the steep ramps here. If it isn't selective then perhaps a large group could reach the Mur together, bringing those sprinters who can get over the tougher hills into play, though of course that is unlikely.

Wow, 3 riders of my team named in that preview, that's quite a surprise and a half. Would like to see Cunego doing well in what probably will be his final races on this level.

Badalang ended with us only just around the top 25. so absolutely no expectations here but with LLS I can remain a tiny bit hopeful.
Either way, should be a good race, especially seeing if Ponzi will take the next step towards the Ardennes triple. Thanks jph!

we'll go and give our cheers to Skujins, but I'd also like to see the likes of Kelderman, de Bie, Sagean, the Gazelle boys or our friends from Slovenia with Koretzky as their leader to score big...

Thanks for the preview...we will be lame again and Gazelle will fill the top20, so we can proceed to more interesting races.

Please just a better race as Amstel.
Not only for my team as I hope to somehow enter the top10 with De Bie while Villella, Boom, Thurau, Schachmann, Scheit or whoever is here (startlist is missing ) are around 30-50th for at least 2-3 of them.
But also it would be good if the best riders finish high instead of some "trains" going up. |

Top 15 for Pichon is the aim but Top 25 is probably the more realistic ambition. So hopefully we will have a small chance of that here |

Fingers crossed!
Don't know what more to say, really. After his win in Amstel, Ponzi must be the favourite, especially if it comes down to a sprint on Mur de Huy. If it's slightly more selective, anyone of the top, top puncheurs can take it, I think. |

Fingers crossed for an exciting race from the sidelines and hopefully Poljanski is more visible or finish within the small points. Really hope TVG will win this, but as last years Pokerstars team had my support last year, I do hope Ginanni can continue from AGR

Hoping for a somehow more selective race than AGR to prevent one team from scoring a lot and to give Kelderman a cleaner way to a Top 10 again.
Selective and Flèche probably don't go well together though..

Top 20 would be great. Hope Boasson Hagen can bounce back as well.

Team morale is high; let's keep the ball rolling. Another Ginanni top 3 would be awesome.
Also think it's time for EBH to find his form.

I fear that it won't be a miracle anymore in two years if Sagan wins this

I'm really hoping that Claeys can actually perform here after Amstel.
