Pack 1 contains 37 real stages from past years. Mainly classics and NC's plus races where the number of stages haven't changed. All stages checked, some converted and a few adjusted.

Plan to use this thread just for 2015 season races (except in post 2).
The presented races are all updated from last year... at least a little. But the already downloaded stages from my PCM14 thread should work well in PCM15, too.
From the Vuelta a la Rioja is an outdated version in the original game (from 2013). For the Berner Rundfahrt a replacement stage is used... one of the ugliest I've ever seen. The Umag Trophy made by the Cyanide stagemaker looks nice, though appears as a rushed job (auto-cities, fields and forests...that's it).
As these races are already in the game the stagefiles can be copied into cm_stages. Be aware: as Umag Trophy will be overwritten you may wanna make a backup copy of the original file.

may I ask exactly what the "updates" consist in? Because I am already using some of your 2014 stages in PCM15, so I was wondering what you have changed exactly. |

Changes to 2015 stages I've already made with PCM14 are all non-essential. Just used some of the new IB's and fences to pimp 'em a little... and to get familiar with the new editor stuff.

Hm, I like to know if these are the same as the ones you did for 2014.
Guess all, but not sure are once made by you in 2014 version.
To test I DL Umag and put it in PCM2014. It worked very fine and if I have to say looked very nice. Your high quality as always.
I confess that I can't remember using this before (2014 style) so perhaps it's new. I got a 2013 version, but that might have come with the game, not sure.
Maybe thhese are just even more pimped up versions. The PMB you just recently made for 2014. Could be any different or ?

To be precise... Vuelta Ciclista a La Rioja, Trofeo Alcide Degasperi and PMB Road Classic are pimped 2015 races I already made for PCM14.
For Berner Rundfahrt / Tour de Berne the route stays the same, so I just pimped the 2014 race to make it work.
Trofej Umag - Umag Trophy I once made for PCM13, but the route changed (shorter, but more laps). Still could use some of the old roads.
Philadelphia International Cycling Classic keep it's 2014 route, but the race is downgraded to 1.2 and is therfor almost two laps shorter.
In the next weeks pimped versions of the following 2015 races will be released:

Still not got the PCM15, but can say that I am curious if something revolutionary thing has popped up in the stage making category.
Something that owning just 2014 doesn't spot in the stages pimped-up for the 2015 version.
??? Care to let me in on what might be decisive brand new, if anything with the editor and stage making???
I know my XML still works, so nothing in that part.

Nothing revolutionary changed. But one thing I like a lot is that fields are working much easier. In prior versions of the editor you've to work very carefully to not get ugly boundaries. Today the SE seems more lenient in that regard.
New IB's (mostly Dutch fashioned) and fences were added and texture quality is improved, everything is looking a little nicer.
Like the new "Resnap Fences and Isolated Objects" function which lands/levels all flying objects. Just need to take care not to use accidentally.
On the bad side the stage editor always crashes when I try to work on multiple stages when launched. So if I want to make changes on a second stage I have to restart SE.

... and new sea barrier bridges:
Looks nice, but I doubt it'll come in handy very often.
The other bridges didn't change.

Decided to split the planned variant pack, the second part will take a while. Some races might keep their routes (e.g. Tour do Rio, Copa América de Ciclismo, Lichtervelde) and for some I need to decide how to react to changed number of stages (e.g. Tour de Pais Savoye, Oberösterreichrundfahrt maybe even Tachira) and if there's DB-way to deal with it.

For Classic Loire Atlantique the 2015 route was already made and the routes for Himmerland Rundt and Beaumont Trophy didn't change to the 2014 season. Minimum work to the fluff was done.

First stage of Tour of Estonia is almost the former Tallinn-Tartu GP route. Made the necessary changes to the route (second gravel section) and minor improvements. Second stage is close to the former Tartu GP, but newly made.
This years U23 European Continental Championships are held at Tartu, too. Same course as second stage of Tour of Estonia, but a lap (12,5 km) longer. Just changed to a classic finish, removed the sprints and added the extra lap.
