hi guys, welcome to my stage galery ! I do some variants for small tours and classics. Don't hesitat to suggests, commentate or to do some requests
My stages are for PCM15
A Swiss cycling championship around the beautiful Morat Lake in the canton of Bern. The road race is flat but a small hill will give opportunities to other riders to avoid a sprint.
Nice little race. Nice scenery and stuff, HOWEVER
do get the "merge" problem out of the way.
Borders parameters and perhaps hiding some objects at the finish. The Booth and VIP is "growing" into houses. Then generate, so then ...
The car on the road close to finish line could perhaps be deleted ?
I've learned so far that not hiding several of these Border Parameters when one got several IBs houses close to finish will create this mess-up.
But it's of course only a visual error, but a pitty on an overall great stage.
It's amazing how many times this un-ticking of merge or forgetting of those pesky VIP,Booths,Rue and tribunes are present among stage makers. It's like forgetting the final touch that makes a thing perfect.
Just my opinion, but you asked for it mate.
Hope to see more interresting stages (with fine finishing) in the future.
(Just tested your RR race, so not know how the ITT looks like)

Hi Clamel, and really a big thanks for you feedback, always nice to have a report I'm happy that you liked it and really sorry for the border problem... I'm so stupid... Usually I always look after these problemes when I do my stages but this one was from PCM13 and when I uploaded it I've forgotten to look after this because I've done it in last minute to give it to a database... so, really, sorry mate !
I'll correct this tomorrow and upload the correct version.
The ITT surely has the same problem because it is exactly on the same ZCTS (same scenery).
Hi guys, I'm now working on a Volta ao Algarve (2.1) variant. This tour of five stages that stands in february is an important race for preparating the season and there is always a big startlist but no variant in PCM : so I do one ! I've tried to do something equilibrated and like IRL, one TT, two hills and two flats stages. For the moment only two stages are decorated and I will present them :
Big hilly stage to begin between Sagres and Belem, not very long but very difficult in the end. The two ascents of the Serra de Monchique (first and last climb) will make a lot of gaps between the best climbers.
GPM :(2) Serra de Monchique, (3) Breja, (2) Serra de Monchique - Belem Sprint : Zoo de Lagos
Spoiler
Stage 3 | Olhos de Agua - Ferreiras | 20.4km
The third stage is a long and flat individual time-trial between the balnear station of Olhos de Agua, near Albufeira, and Ferreiras. The occasion for the best specialists to take some advantage of the climbers and punchers.
Looks very nice mate,
just don't forget those pesky little details (merge and perhaps hiding of some crucial things at the finish) that could easily create a nasty aftertaste.
Hi guys !
I'm back during these holidays with some stages. First, two races that I've made some months ago and that I hope you'll enjoy. Now, I'm working on a Tour in the region of Thessaloniki (Greece).
Have a nice 2016's year !
Leicester Chrono Tour
Three days in the region of Leicester... and three Time Trials. The UCI wanted a race for the timetrialists... and has chosen Great Britain for this new unusual race. The 330.000 inhabitants city of Leicester, where the british young cyclist Lucy Garner is born, will host this Tour. The two bigs stages (TTT and the big ITT) will also arrive and start from the city of Coventry.
A difficult race with a short prologue, a long team time-trial and a long solo time-trial. A solid time-trialist will need a strong team to win because every second he will lost will be hard to take back in the last 54km long time-trial.
My second race, a classic in the swiss "Jura" region
Grand Prix "La Rauracienne"
A small classic in circuit in the region of the Jura in french-speaking Switzerland. The race is 210 kilometers long and has fast 4.000 meters of postitiv denivelation. 4 laps with the ascent of the col of Marchairuz and the col of Mollendruz, two big guys. The finish and the start of this climber-designed classic is in the small village of Le Brassus, mostly known for hosting swiss-watchs designer Jaeger - LeCoultre, in front of the Lake of Joux.
A small but hard race that can have a lot of different scenarios and where everything can happen ! But one thing is for sure, you'll had to be strong to win there !
Start at Le Brassus :
First climb of the day : The Mollendruz with his easiest step.
Start of the climb of the Marchairuz from the village of Biere.
Buvette du Marchairuz, in the top of the climb, 10ks remaining and mostly down-hill. A small group can resist here but warning beacause this down-hill is really dangerous...
