Was just thinking if it was possible to add a function to see the original post if someone's edited it. Most other sites have it and I've often found myself wondering what I've missed. Obviously in some cases people edit posts for a reason, but hopefully people can see that it was edited in these cases so the original doesn't really matter

I think that it is right as it already is.
I mean: as you said there's always a reason when someone edits a post, those are the ones why the "original button" shouldn't be there:
1) Regret for something said before;
2) Moderator's edit.
Sometimes it's better not to know certain things

No! First we need the ability to "tag" someone else in a post, and they receive a PM with a link to the post. It would help getting someone that you want to see a pots to actually see it, as before I have forgot about certain threads that other users have quoted one of my posts in, and totally forgot to look and respond
