Last year a C2 race won by Samuel Sanchez, this year it is a C1 race. The hills remain the same, and the Sprints/KoM in the profile mean nothing!
Favourites:
| Hill | Di Maggio | 82 | Froome | 81 | Roy | 79 | Betancourt | 79 | Monfort | 79 | Gautier | 79 | Skujins | 79 | Barrio | 79 | Ben Nasser | 79 | Mendes | 78 | Bellis | 78 | Bilbao | 77 | Cobo | 77 | Weening | 76 | McEvoy | 76 | Vastaranta | 76 | Serry | 76 | Acevedo | 76 |

Gautier for the win. Maggio and Kujins to complete the podium ahead of Froome and Monfort.

I'll be just about okay with podium, anything else is a massive fail. Froome has to start winning something soon..

I don't like the game putting Bellis at #1 there, but after Taihu I guess we're not fighting against RBC anyway...
Still, something like Froome, Di Maggio, Gautier anyway so the big points are gone to promoting teams.

Just get more points then La Vie Claire and I'll be happy
Interesting to see Cobo get top bid over Barrio. I wonder how that's going to work out.

Gautier, Froome and Bellis for the podium I think.
Di Maggio could show himself while Roy will (once again) underperform hugely. |

Us and Gazelle seem to have very strong 7's with all having 70 + hills which means the break shouldn't be able to stay away so hopefully it's just bellis against the other favs if he gets to the sprint in the lead group I think he'll win big if though. |

A top15 makes it a worthwhile trip to Portugal. Otherwise it's a nice challenge and chance to gain experience.

Too many big guns... Top 10 would be fine hoping for something around 5 though.
What is the coeficient of this race?

The profile seems ideal for Ben Nasser, plenty of hills and then a downhill finish for him to use his sprint. With so many top riders here though I'd be happy with a top five. Please no random breakaways PCM... |

Looking for Monfort to deliver us a top 5 here. He has the ability and support to do it.

Unfortunately it is confirmed what I feared. The big guns are all here. The top20 should be the best we will be able to reach. I only ask that one of my guys will join the break of the day

All 7 of our riders have 70+ Hill also, but we tend to make breaks rather than chase them
Aiming for a Top 5 and more points than CSC here. Gautier and Mandri are in decent form so fingers crossed. |

Congrats to Quickstep, surprising as even with the downhill, Froome should always sprint backwards
Thanks SN for quickly delivering this race beside all the GT stuff.

Yay, our first classic this season, took a while though, but finally came. And he played it actually smart today. If only Baugnies could learn.
Thanks for the speed SN and great read.

Thanks SN, great work as ever
Gautier met expectations, but the overall team performance was a little disappointing. Still, points are points and Gautier makes it 6 consecutive top 5's. |

Great report SN I really thought bellis would do it over the hill but not to be still a good race and Anderson picking up some points too.
@JPH i've been playing some PCM13 recently and the first 4 teams on the start list in classics are usually the only ones that will work for some reason and with two of them teams having less then 7 was quite important I felt that we both had strong hill squads and it just about worked. |
