Hi all,
In 2 weeks time, a work colleague and I will be attempting to cycle non-stop for 24hrs to raise money for the UK Cancer Charity, The Christie's.
Setting ourselves in the office on Turbo Trainers, we will start at 5pm on Thursday 9th October, cycling through the night and finishing the Challenge at 5pm on Friday 10th October.

Awesome, but why not outside riding for 24 hours? I imagine going 24 hours on those trainers is psychological devasting, I go ape shit crazy when I spent more than a hour on those damn home trainers.

@jihardy: Coffee, energy gels, energy bars, recovery drinks... we will have the lot!
@bbl: It will be very tough! I just hope we can keep our sanity
@jseadog: There will be updates on here and on twitter
@shonak: A thought was put in about riding outside, but safety came into play at the end of the day. We are going to have lots of entertainment throughout the challenge. Netflix and a tv will be key I think. I'm open to suggestions of boxsets we can watch during the 24 hours

I have just remembered that I posted on here, and I never updated you on it
The 24 hours were completed, almost 600 miles between the two of us, and over £1,200 raised for charity
