palmares + records?

Hi!
can someone tell me if I need to update records if the results are in the palmares?
For example Virenque won Mountain jersey 3 times in the palmares, but if I win another jersey, will it counts as a new performance = 1st mountain jersey or 4th?

Do you mean that if you create Virenque and win the KoM jersey, that stat will increase to 4 times winner?

Your english was fine  don't worry.
I would presume that the stat will not automatically change to 4 times winner, as there is no direct link between the two riders. If you wish for it to show 4 times winner, you may need to edit the palmares for your saved game.
Try sending a PM to someone like Lachi, who knows a lot about this sort of thing as I don't know myself

Why should he send a PM? I am in the forum as well.
I think you have to link the palmares to the cyclist. This would be done in the database or in the save, it is about the save only. (The tables are called DYN_palmares_cyclist and DYN_cyclist)

I think it does but there was a little error in my description.
If you added a rider to the database who already has some palmares, you have to link the two "riders".
Using the Virenque example:
1. Search him in DYN_cyclist and write down his number (first column)
2. Search him in DYN_palmares_cyclist.
3. Fill the noted number into the column fkIDcyclist.
(When using my editor you can tick the option 'use table lookup' and then omit step 1.) |

I try to explain better
So in my Db, (haven't launch a game nor anything) we are in 1999
I'm adding riders, that's ok, i'm adding their palmares with teams etc. that's ok
BUT my problem, or at least my question is:
1) If I already added in the palmares table for each year (1995, 96, 97) the rider won the Kom jersey of the TDF
2) Do i need to specify in the records table 3 times winner of the Kom of the TDF?
3) So if the same rider win the Kom jersey in 1999 will it change to 4 in the records of the game or will he has only one time winner of the Kom jersey if I don't update records

Yes. Palmares are only "cosmetic" so to say. You need to update STA_records if you want Virenque's 4th win to be registered as such. And obviously there has to be the link between Virenque in DYN_palmares_cyclist and DYN_cyclist, like Lachi said in post #8.
