I've reinstalled my pcm, and whilst waiting for patches etc to play carrer im gonna do some stages
first thing, i dont have the patience to do massive amounts of background graphics. I do just enough to be realistic, and not boring
second thing, please make any comments etc.
third thing, how should i upload my finished stages?
Ok heres my rough plan for stages;
Tour of Britain Variant
Tour of Britain Variant 2
Tour of Florida (Fantasy)
Tour of Arizona (Fantasy)
Cape Town WC (Fantasy)
San Fransisco WC (Fantasy)
Munich WC (Fantasy)
Hope you enjoy them when they come out

Tour of Britain - Variant 1
The ToB is 8 stages round the UK in mid-september
Stage 1
The opening stage is a first for the ToB.
It begins in Belfast, Northern Ireland
It is an 5 laps of a 17.5km circuit round the north of the city.
Stage 2
Starts in Edinburgh, Scottland, then runs down the coast to Newcastle, England for a fast sprint finish
Stage 3
Starts in Preston, before winding over the hills to the top of the Hardknott Pass, the steepest road in the UK. A hilly day for the GC, thanks to the Lake District.
Stage 4
Starting in Leeds, the race bumps down the Pennines to Derby. Another day with lots of climbing, the GC should be almost sorted.
Stage 5
Starting down in Cardiff, Wales, the race hits all 4 countries. Another bumpy route, before several small laps round Aberystwyth to thin the peloton out for a reduced sprint.
Stage 6
Begining in Birmingham, the race dashes across to Bristol. Here the peloton again has to battle several short, but tough laps before a reduced sprint uphill.
Stage 7
Starting in Bath the riders make their way to the coast, and along to Southampton for a simple sprint finish on the penultimate day
Stage 8
The final day is an ITT round central London. It takes in many of the main sights over a fairly simple course that should decide the GC, as the ToB visits all 4 capitals.
Points of Interest
Visits all 4 nations
Visits all 4 capitals
Steepest Road in UK
more to come

Just finished stage 1
its much harder than i thought
1000m of climbing
5 times over the main hill
max 8.5%
but it looks good, just about to test it
quick question
is is easier to just replace a race with this stage to test, or add a new one?

Name it "t1_britain_01_v1". Then it'll show up as the first stage of a ToB variant. Then you can add stage two as "t1_britain_02_v1". When you're done with all the stages, you'll have the race added as a variant.

add as new one in my view. then you know it will work when being added as a variant. if unsure, ask pm one of the established stage makers, like sportingnonsense or tsmoha. Ive used their stages in the past and never had any problems with them!

ToB v1 - Stage 1 - Belfast Criterium
I just ran it, no issues it runs well.
It is a hilly stage, obviously.
I will get screenshots and a few results together later.
The stage is 78km
There are 3 Kom points, each climb top, excluding the first and last.
There are 4 IS points, halfway between each climb.

I think you will find that the UK is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
The Republic of Ireland is not part of the UK

Northern Ireland, once again, (this has been said before) is in the UK, but not Britian.
And the Republic of Ireland isn't in the UK anymore damn straight.

Don't you have auto-save activated? Very useful feature, it's activated by default to save every 5 mins I think.
