Well, hush my mouth. I guess me & tsmoha were wrong. Thorsen can beat Richeze & co. |

Sadly the mountains were to tough on Lavoine and seems the game is unable to grant more than 2 stage wins per team :/
Think it would've been better if Lavoine didn't have a train at this stage, as we can't get in the right position.

I feel like I ought to be commenting on this race, as I am very grateful for the reports and the speed at which they are being delivered, but there is absolutely nothing positive at all I can take from this race. You would think sending one of the best stage racers in the division and one of the best sprinters in the division to one of the key C2HC races of the season, eating up a lot of racedays, would at least reward us somewhat. But no, we have achieved absolutely nothing in this race. Soler has crashed out, our secondary GC guy Zurita lost time stupidly on a flat stage, and Forero has just given up on life completely. Anyone want him on a free transfer for next season?

YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pierzga takes the team's first ever win! wouldn't of picked him to do so, but he is now my second favourite rider. (love Sobota so much, 4th today from him). Interesting as well with the last 4 stages, giving us 5th, 12th, 14th and 1st from breaks, plus Sobota's consistency being really great.
Only bad thing is Dabrowski losing time and droping down to 15th, but still top 15 and I'm so happy with what happened anyway.
Thanks for the report tsmoha.
Too early to dream of this meaning we can win more now?
EDIT: Also looks like we have two stage 8's in a row, named wrong?

That was better, c'mon Michael! All you need to do is to beat that Argentinian in one more sprint. Should be doable.
Splits are always interresting (and terrifying)
Glad my riders wasn't too affected by it.
Thank you tsmoha! |

Somehow that AI doesn't like me:
Hirt dropping back to 8th was to be expected - and keeping his KoM and U25 jersey is pretty much satisfying.
But we were in the break on the first three flat stages - then we aren't in on stage 6 and of course the break finishes ahead of the pack here.
Pibernik and Jenko joined the breakaways again then, which is good, but being catched just near the finish.. well, that's racing.
And I'm really sorry for Soler and Roman. What a drama those guys lost their good places..

Another consistent ride by Razzie, but seems Koep can't make a good split or have any luck this year at all.

First off, well done tsmoha! (Saying this again, but, hey it never gets old.
Now down to the racing. Compal-Merida! Hatful of stage wins here, two in the top 5 and the points jersey, they even managed the points jersey in Azerbaijan. So they have the squad to beat and they maintain their fluky characteristic of winning from breaks a la last season. They have scored so much in this month.
Pleased to see Indosat - ANZ take the GC win here, especially after the winner lost time through a fall. Auto promotion very much still on for them, I think. Fablok - Dunlop with a great race as well, no points jersey but two wins and a top 5 is plenty!
Bad bad race for Alpina-Avianca, hopefully a one off like the Tour of America was for Bonsucro last season.
Elta-Hellenic Post and Sodexo ProCycling were struggling for points before this, so nice these two active teams score plenty of points here. |

Great consistency from Razzie, great riding from Kragh Andersen and Koep's top 20 is a very very very very small success.
Edit: And of course thanks to tsmoha for continuing to act as Super Reporter!

Thanks for the reports
Berard finally with a Top 5 finish and on that account it was pretty good
Lavoine was clearly not on his best after the mountains, but he did well and I think we managed to get a Top 10 each stage ?
Stage 10 was quite annoying and he both had no energy and opened to early, where he lost so much ground on nothing. First goal of the season is failed and Matthews really did well against the 80+ Sprinters.
I would really like to see how many points each team got and where my team is
@TheRider : Your predictions wasn't that good though

Thank you for the summary The Rider. We had indeed a very good race here, and delighted to see we managed to score points in Azerbaijan as well.
I can't believe how well Matthews is doing without support, but maybe the fact that he is without a sprint train helped him here? Would have loved to see Richeze fighting a little closer to Matthews today, battling for the points jersey, but we're of course very happy with the outcome nonetheless.
Enough credit cannot be given to tsmoha for again leading us through a semi-GT, 2 reports a day, at the same time as he's writing up reports from other divisions as well. |

Thanks a lot to tsmoha for the race
6th for Sobota today isn't bad and I'm happy with it given stage 9's result. Also a top 15 GC for Dabrowski.

Most importantly, thank you for the good pace, tsmoha
It was quite good to see our guys in the break that often though it never gave us any points. :/
However, I'm delighted Hirt not only finished 6th in GC, but also took the KoM and U25. He surely is the biggest surprise this season so far. That is also why I'm still happy with how things go though Bole isn't really delivering so far.

Cheers for the reports.
Well congrats to Matthews, best sprinter here. Wish Richeze had done a bit better but one stage win will have to do... |

Thanks again tsmoha for the fantastic reports and quick pace once again!
Overjoyed to have finally taken a GC win, and even better for it to be in somewhat of a 'home' race for us! Atapuma finally delivered a great result and achieved our second goal of a stage win here. Aidis was also very consistent in the sprint finishes, unable to dethrone the top sprinters, but still always having a go. Peerapol sneaking into the top 10 is great as well, unfortunate as it is because of Soler having to abandon.
Compal as strong as ever, stage wins, decent GC, points and team classification. Not a bad race Bjarnte, eh? Richeze, Thornsen and Lavoine also showing why they're the top sprinters in the division. Hirt also continues to impress with another terrific result. And of course a great result for Elta sneaking into the podium here.
This is exactly what I needed to forget that Azerbaijan existed

That was an amazing tour for me. Had consistent stage results and even a win on a stage. And I also have some solid overall positions with 12th in GC, 5th in the KOM, 7th in points, and 4th in the young riders classification.
Thank you tsmoha for the excellent reports |

Top 10 finish which has restored some optimism for when Baz reaches the mountains. The sprints are still as random for Sodexo as possible but that will be built on in the future.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha!

Woo, awful. After a few good races earlier on, reading this was quite an anticlimax. Thanks for the reports anyway.
