Within our means the first four days. Two stage top tens and somewhere near top20 in GC. Finishing with the winning break on the final day and we can call this trip to Bayern a Vontobel success story.
Gratz to the Evonik guys. Likely they won't make their win goal, but grabbing this prestigious stage victory is a remarkable sign.

Koren in amazing form again! Impressive how he managed to almost close that gap to Kelderman and secured the leader jersey!
Despite the great result for my team, I'm also a bit disappointed at how the AI handled this stage. There's again a huge number of riders in the peloton who could have done so much more and probably have at least half of their energy left at the finish. They give up way too easily. It doesn't feel like an epic GC battle; more like a lottery.
Fingers crossed that we don't lose the jersey to the early breakaway tomorrow.

I'd love to find the breakaway here, GC well out of reach either way I believe but this has been a complete disappointment for the team (which is really sad because we came with next to no expectation anyway)

Not much to say on our performance.

Great stage win of my buddies over at Evonik, seems like LLS signing will pay off.

4 in the top 30 gives us an 80 points haul if it finished now but a break will win the last stage and knock us down a few spots for sure so anonymous so far. |

Porte!!! Are you kidding me? Where did this 63 sprinter get that power from? Really thought Thurau would have this stage here after the attack and in perfect position. Why you no sprint?
Bue asides this small rant, this stage made it a good race for me actually. 2nd in the stage moving Thurau surprisingly into the points lead. KoM lead is less surprising with 3 Cat.2 here. Two very nice bonusses.
Together with Boom in 11th this is okay race point for me I think.
Pity that Krieger did not sprint again, then again not too bad when the peloton is not fighting for the win.
Thanks for the reports FroomeDog. |

Wtf...
Why didn't anyone help us?
Bit disappointing Bayern for us, I suppose.
Thanks for reporting Froomedog.

I hate this game. I hate this season.
Just give me the highest ranking spot that doesn't grant promotion already and let's continue with the 2016 season on PCM15.
Nerz will be up for grabs in transfers to stay below the PCT cap, inquire in our HQ please if you're interested.

Thurau
Unlucky for Phelan, would have really loved to yet a rare polka dot to our palmares. Anyway, still a pretty great result with Visconti as 5th overall. Had hoped for a Top-15/10 with Grivko, but this definitely is above our expactations. Our Italian veteran proves why he's a manager's favorite once again.
Porte
Congrats to DD for this victory with Koren here. This guy was solid for our promotion campaign last year, but he's never been as great as he rode here. Huge success of course.
Thanks for the quality reports!

Great way to end this race, It was to be expected a successful breakway, but perhaps not expect to see my team participate in it. This 4th place of Balloni is not only a good bonus as it allows to jump from the 79th to the 24th of the classification.
This race ends up going very well for the team, the objective has been achieved with the stage victory, from Fiedler, then with the 7th, 24th and 28th overall, 3rd place in teams and a few more points in other Rankings which ensures the team about 160 points...
Congratulations to all the winners of this race and many thanks for the great work FroomeDog99

I would not mind either...
Good race from LLS. Goal not reached but at least we came close. Again some very solid points for my team which makes it a rather good start of the season.
Congrats to DD. Another nice win that I not really saw coming but with their depth it was expected that at least one of them would be in the competition.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Thanks!
Glad our domestiques did what had to be done: not letting the breakaway get a dangerous gap.
This victory is a huge boost to team morale after a disappointing Down Under. Koren was magnificent in the two stages that mattered and has proven himself a valuable addition in his first race. His popularity with the fans just went up.
Since having big depth in the squad is a major focus at Gazelle, doing well in the Team Classification is always very much appreciated. So props to Kangert and Minnard, whose solid performances secured us that win as well.
Thanks for reporting FroomeDog!

Well, missing the break away hurts, especially since we have been nowhere in these sprints
At least we took some points from the race I guess and congrats to the winners etc
