Olivier and Frison in U23 ITT. No chance though.
Elite ITT with Keizer and Schädlich could be nice. Top 5 eventually.
U23 RR could see Krieger getting a chance but probably more like last leadout for Zabel. Olivier and Frison but also Edmondson might attack. |

Yay South American winner! A nice race to follow from a neutral perspective and, like others said, an interesting indicator of how things might pan out in later races.

Assume there's no issues crossing over between B-Worlds and the U23. Losch and Fritsch lining up for Luxembourg in the U23RR and Cholakov and Robov for Bulgaria and Yates for GB and Ewan for Australia. Not bad representation. Yates and Ewan are my best odds for a good result.
Some more good races coming up, very excited!

The season is almost done, but there are still some championships to be raced, for example the World Championships! And although this year's route (flat) isn't perfect for our riders, we believe that we have a chance if the race is turned into an endurance race. The Russian line-up is mostly Tinkoff, but 4 very strong riders will join from other teams; Ignatiev (Metinvest-Emirates) for the Road Race, ITT and TTT / Gusev (Pendleton's) for both the Road Race and the TTT / Kovalev (VolksWagen-Mapei) and Yatsevich (Bacardi - Itera) for the TTT.
Russia has 3 captains for the road race; Ignatiev, Gusev and Trofimov as leaders / Kritskiy as luxury teammate / Kolesnikov and Kozontchuk for a mid race attack / Brutt and Rovny for the early breakaway.
Russia also has a strong team for the Team Time Trial, but we are definitely not the favourite, with a bit of luck maybe podium? Kritskiy and Ignatiev will ride the Individual Time Trial.

Good to see my only U23 rider in La Lavandier being given a run for France.

Will start lists for the U23 races be posted before the event? Interested from a general perspective, and would also help inform re: betting choices. Thanks.
Yap.
Updated the startlists now, to be found in Post #1!
Full credits for the lists to OlegTinkov though.
Info: The TTT will be online early tomorrow!
Cant wait for U23 TT, go Zmorka and get that revenge for Avenir on that nordic powerhouse.
And in TTT, go Russia and Ukraine!

Nice to see the Netherlands win even without Van Winden.
Keizer and Boom with a nice success for my team here.
For Germany, Fiedler was clearly missing for a better result.
Russia though is impressive how Oleg is slowly developing them to one of the top Nations. Well done and very close.
Thanks for the nice report, tsmoha. |

Veryimpressive from Russia - didn't expect that when I was setting odds, had them pegged at the same level as Germany. France in 3rd is good, with Sicard, Bouet and Rolland missing. Plus Paillot, Robert, Lecuisinier and Viennet all can progress further for future seasons so a 83/80/80/79/79/78/78/77 lineup is possible in future to stop the Dutch. Speaking of the Dutch, Reus wins my first ever world championships medal which is nice. Good race overall, and great report tsmoha, kept the tension high

Well done by Netherlands, clear to see that Fiedler was missing on the German team. Russia doing well with Kovalev

Cabrera almost reached the top 3. If only he had good positioning..
And that was really close for the dutch boys. |

Wow unlucky for Russia there - I'll be honest would have been nice to see them sneak in and win the title. But Netherlands the flat country still the gods of TTT congrats to them.
France in bronze is good - they benefit I think from a lot of active teams with French riders such as Festina, La Vie etc. Still a little surprised to see them beat Australia.
Belgium well down what a disappointment for them and CountArach. With Boonan's decline, Bpost relegation and Bakelandts lackluster season it has been a bit of a Anus Terriblis for them.

Oh and like wise for Germany - I guess ING, Santander going AWOL was really going to effect things.
Then again those German teams VW and Rothaus guys will be knackered after that massive relegation pillow mud-wrestling fight they had.

France actually had a slightly stronger lineup than the Aussies here - stat wise! Which kinda surprised me, since I'm not too deep into French cycling
Congrats to all managers with Dutchies, what a close win there. Completing the triple is something great to achieve, but next year will be thrilling again.

Oh, we almost did it Oleg!
It gives me some top5 confidence for ITT for Ignatiev.
Congrats to Netherlands, obviously still the best TT nation in the man game.
16th for Ukraine is nothing great, but also nothing abyssmal.

Next year is Germany's year! Fiedler should find an active team, Sutterlin will have developed... Watch out!
More serious, time for someone to beat Netherlands next year... 3 in a row is enough

So you are not aware that France is the most overrated cycling nation in MG
