That´s nice be Seeldraeyers!
I´m just hoping Hermans and Seeldraeyers can stay with the peloton in the last stage, and Hermans getting a good place in the finnish. |

Good ride By Di Maggio. He seemed very strong today, so it's nice to see him take the GC lead! Furthermore an impressive stage by Haavardsholm. Would be an extremely good result if he manages to hold onto his 6th place.
Now hoping there will be no huge surprises on the last stage!

These reports have been great, thanks SN.
Froome crashing has thrown the race wide open and it is good to see a few lesser names taking advantage and moving up the GC.

The best rider won the stage, the second best took the lead, and the thoretical third is second
Really happy with the result.
It's also nice to have 3 riders at the top 20 in the stage and the top 30 of the GC right now, 2nd in teams and the leader of the youth.
And now I want to quote the wisest comment so far:

Weening apparently didn't have the legs to try an attack. That's a shame, because now he ends up in the peloton and there's all kinds of lesser puncheurs ahead of him in GC. Even a guy with 69 HI! So disappointing result for Gazelle.
Mighty attack by Froome! Congrats

I'm blessed by a great group of guys!
Marcel Wyss keeps on doing his thing and is well on the way to improve his 2012 result.
Martin Kohler is our first guy in a breakaway this season and like so many breaks before it pays out big time. Already had silent hopes after crash and time loss in stage 2 (without beeing hurt seriously).
Martin lost eight minutes on the last big climb so he might have saved some energy for another try tomorrow. Anyway... nice battle for the KOM-jersey with our CT contenders of Euskaltel.
...and great reporting, too.

That was unfortunate, with Wegmann being the only overall favourite to not stick in the peloton. Looks like it's cost him an overall top ten as well, which is disappointing. Race ruined for us.
Congrats to Quickstep, looking superior as always. |

And that's why I wanted Betancour.
Still, good stage by Becerra. 8th in the GC is good, hopefully Cabrera can add more points in the last stage and Becerra hangs in that top 10 in the GC. |

A nice stage there - Froome producing a big solo attack and win, whilst the GC battle goes on behind. Happy days for the punchy riders really with this and Tirreno!

Chalapud just has to be 31st in the GC knowing my luck At least he surprisingly managed to stay in the front group, although it was disappointing to see Orozco dropped from the break. Where's your fighting spirit you Colombians!?

Oh ffs, just when you think a bad race is over you even lose some more ranking points... Well done Kono! (not)
Didn't expect that much from this race, but 13th isn't enough... Atleast Vorganov also scores a few points as 19th in the GC...

Even a stage win and team classification doesn't compensate what should have been easy GC win here...
Oh well, winning the division wasn't going be easy, but with the classics going shitty so far and unluckiness combined we might say goodbye already.
Thanks SN for the reports, great quality as ever.

Great final report (that is a standart when you do them) and as i expected, Rabon contested the sprint and moved to 6th in GC, that is very decent place to finish this race for us.
If Rabon continues to do this great things in hilly races (he has shitload of race days), it can be nice season for him and whole team.
Congarts to Venchi, but i am pretty disappointed that PCM sometimes almost ignores secondary stats, because Di Maggio is one trick ponny and it does not matter, which is meh.

Thanks for the great reports, SN!
A very good last stage for us. We managed to keep the yellow jersey and Corioni delivered well. The brilliant leadout from Haavardsholm definitely makes up for him losing a position in the GC.
We should score well over 40 PpRD here, so overall a brilliant race!

Cabrera Win number one for us, awesome.
Overall, a great race for the team, somewhat compensates for Oman and South Africa. Becerra's 9th is also great. |

Too many points for Metinvest and Swedbank here for my liking, but of course PCT is no picnic.

After the Táchira drama this race gives us a nice boost of points.
132 total points (33 pprd) with Betancour scoring 105. This puts us with 317 total points, 11.32 pprd that is 1.32 pprd ahead of what I think will mark relegation (10 pprd).
Now a well deserved rest until the Strade Bianche.
Congratulations Sykkel for the win and thanks SN for all the reports.

Very surprising tour for us! Maksimov winning and Hategeka doing well as well. Scored more than 100 points here. Very happy with how things went
Also nice to see Mobil finally picking up a due victory with Cabrera!

Great ride by Bravo indeed, looked like the strongest of the breakaway!
From Vontobel's perspective all the defined goals are achieved.
Wyss as 10th has the improved result we're looking for... and he can be called best CT rider of the race, too.
Martin Kohler added valuable points by scoring well in the KOM-Competition.
Rafael Addy lacked smartness and power in the final kilometres of the last stage, but nonetheless it was the bravest race of his young career.
Armindo Fonseca disappointed slightly, he didn't seemed to be in his best shape.
Thanks for the great reporting and gratz to Venchi - Ferranti!
