Stage win and race goal accomplished! Great to see Kragh do it again in Qatar
With the team we sent here, I'm definitely happy with what we've got, this stage win being the key. Congratulations again on a brilliant, and kind of sensational, GC win, beagle! |

Disappointing race for us. Hopefully it's just a one-off.
Thanks for the reports UU and congrats ember!

Would have taken 2nd at the start of the race, despite this being our win goal, but was expecting to lose out to Gaviria or Coquard rather than Philipsen. Point scoring across the stages was disappointing as well, so fairly average race for us overall despite the good headline GC result.
I think we need to go back to the longer epilogue - totally unbiased there of course
Thanks for the reports Ulrich and congrats to beagle! |

The expected 40 score. Not surprised at all.
Feeling goes out to Ewan and Coquard who disappointed quite a bit.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Huge result for us in the end. it wasn't the best possible epilogue by AKA, but it was just enought o rise a couple of spots and take home a really stellar GC position. 6th in this field, ahead of some huge sprinters, cannot be seen as anything but a success. The lack of any depth points will bring that overall performance down a bit, but still. I can't complain at all. AKA did what he needed to here. A couple of poor performance, but a couple of good ones, and he sprinter every time. hopefully a good sign for the season.
Thanks for the great reports! Congrats to beagle and commiserations to those who underperformed.

Can't even be bothered to calculate my points at this state...
Congrats to those who got what they came for. I'll get back in my hole.

This race reminded me why I hate sprinting. Could have been worse, but if I'm in PCT next year at least I can go back to ignoring these races. Bad 'luck' for Ewan and Coquard.
Thanks for the reports.

After a very promising start, Grosu failed in all of the last 3 sprints. That was kind of disappointing, but walking away with a stage win and fifth in the GC in such a chaotic race is a good result for us, I think.
Thanks for the reports!

Decent finish by Larsen. Not much for us in the end in this race, but not the most important either. Cool to see a former tider taking the win at the last stage. Congrats to ember on the epilogue and to beagle for a great GC win!
And big thanks for UU for the reports

Shame Lander can't TT/PRL to save his live, otherwise that great podium in stage 4 could've propelled him into a solid GC position. Still encouraging to see him duke it out with the big boys though.

Well, didn't achieve very much afterall. Not really a surprise though, so we can't complain after a rather lucky TT friendly ToT outcome.
Thanks for the reports!

Not much from our team during this year's Tour of Qatar, apart from Samolenkov's 3rd place at Stage 5. Nice point haul by Philipsen!
