Congrats Roturn on the stages win well deserved given what happenend in I think it was South Africa.
From are point of view disappointing but not 2nd,4th, 11th, 12th,17th and 18th on GC 2nd in youth and 2nd in team is a great effort out best of the season but one more flat stage to overcome yet hope the team can get through |

Good TTT that. Two riders in the top 10, so will be a good race scoring wise, if they don't lose contact with the bunch on the final stage.
Congrats roturn

6th in GC is good, but we would have scored so much more if Dennis hadn't lost time, may need to work that out congrats to Fiedler and Karcher fpr the win

Good effort by the team to minimize losses in this TTT, putting Fiedler in the race leadership.. Now I hope no disaster happens in the last stage and at the end we can celebrate another victory...
But one thing I do not understand how a rider with 79PL and 83TT can lose 3 seconds for the first three of the team crossing the line
@ryant: Thanks for the congratulations but should wait for the end of the race. Make the advance party never gave good result

Wow, we'll actually get a couple points for the GC here!
Nothing unexpected except for BPost obviously lacking the depth, only gaining 24 seconds on us must be a bad feeling with Cornu leading the team here.
I won't jinx anything, so I just say bring on the last stage.

just checked that Dennis lost 4'20" on stage 3 and is only 4'24" down in the GC now so we missed out on 2nd place and a lot of points here, very disappointing, hope the last stage is selective so Stannard can move up a place or two

Good TTT from the team, shame it won't result in any decent GC-positions since Erviti and Salas and everyone else on our team got caught in some sort of split throughout the race. Maybe Guillen time on the last stage again?!

Argh, second close call from the breakaway, disappointed by Mezgec, his best result was 8th and he did nothing else |

Annoying Bogataj couldn't get a podium at least considering his sprinting abillities, but 5th will have to do and is still trying to improve his first stage win earlier on the season

Gazelle win two stages and a jersey.
Ciolek wins two stages and a jersey.
The crosswinds helped to give us some unexpected GC points, but it's just getting laughable by now. Nothing personal, but this is ridiculous.
Instead of writing "we have crosswinds today" at the start of the report, tsmoha could just as well write "we have a breakaway win today".
Thanks tsmoha for the 248747828th time. Congrats to Kärcher too who finally get something out of Fiedler.

Soooooo....
Lost 2/3 again. So in total I lost 7/8 in splits.
So luckily this split with Pauwels and Groenewegen was not too big and they only lost a bit in the GC while Boom stayed on the podium.
Awesome race for my team. Crazy race obviously as well.
Depth wise good result for RBC, TomTom, Risa. Puma somewhoe loved those 20`s.
One thing I did not like in this last stage the most was the loss of U25 and team lead due to that split. 2nd in both at least giving a bit points as well.
Thanks tsmoha. |

Ahlstrand was on paper top 5 sprinter here but the best he could do was sprinting to 9th in one stage. I often try to not whine but this was just terrible...
But I get my luck in other races like in Sweden and now it looks good in Czech as well
And great 4th by Freddy on the last stage.
Thanks once again Tsmoha |

Yeah, great to see him try Must admit I got my hopes up when I saw him in break though!
Overall got around what I expected from this race, some breakaway appearances, no GC-results because of splits. Happy with a second and a 4th from Guillen in the sprints.
Thanks for the great reports tshoma!

ehmmm... well my love affair with this race has very much ended, i shot myself in the foot when i said i wanted a selective stage... argh!
So now I get next to no pts from a race where I should have got 2nd and 6th in the GC (I NEED PTS GODDAMMIT!)
Nice reports as always tsmoha

Mmmm really annoyed Meier crashed not because of the lose of points just because it would of been the result of his career with is annoying:/
Lost about 40 points this stage not massive in the scheme of things and since we are out of the promotion chase already |

If it helps you, Meier had such impressive GC result in a HC race. Actually last year riding for you in Denmark:

An eventful last stage. Dempster and Christensen on the right side of things, making this a good race for us with 4th and 7th.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha, and congrats to Karcher/fintas. Nice to see Fiedler on the level he should be on.

Before the start of the race I did not expect to be able to win, especially because my team for the TTT was far from being one of the best.
This victory turns out to be a pleasant surprise, and compensates the absence of more riders in the first places.
This was undoubtedly an exciting race mainly due to the wind that made things always unpredictable..
Once more a huge thanks for you tshoma
