Thanks, sgdanny! And well, sutty, I dunno, but if it will be a killer stage, I would actually like it
Stage 19 | Vantage - Ellensburg ITT (45km)
Notable climbs | Vantage Hwy (17km, 3%)
And the final challenge against the clock: 45km in total, this timetrial does feature a quite tricky first half with a steady ascending, but not too steep highway towards Ellensburg. The city will also host the final stage's finish, so is something like the tour's special place for the final days.
TT-specialists will surely need to take this opportunity to make up some ground: the race will continue with the toughest mountain stage the day after, so the ITT will be of course a key stage for less stronger climbers.

Stage 20 | Ashford - Paradise / Mt Rainier (195km)
Notable climbs | Yakima Peak (17km, 5.1%), Mt Rainier (14.5km, 4.6%)
Mount Rainier is the highest mountain in both the State of Washington and the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest. It is the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States and the Cascade Volcanic Arc, with a summit elevation of 14,411 ft (4,392 m).[1][2] Mt Rainier is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world, and it is on the Decade Volcano list.
So far, so good. As for the stage, it's also the most dangerous day for riders to miss the time limit. With several challenging climbs on this back-and-forth route, it's of course a crucial day for the GC: if there's any still open battle, it will be decided here.
With the Mt Rainier always in the background, it's also another day for picturesque views and the finish at the Paradise Inn should be fascinating to watch. The climbs do not feature the steepest slopes in average, but there are several steep sectors anyway.

Majestic !!!! Lets hope it doesn't blow the top off.
Looking very nice indeed mate.
It will be a killer and Contador and Froome will do a rerun of their fight in Vuelta a Andalucia, which will be something to handle.

Thanks, clamel!
Stage 21 | Yakima - Ellensburg (96km)
Notable climbs | None
The ToA will finish in Ellensburg, which hosts it's second stage-finish in this last three days of the race. An almost pan-flat parcours from Yakima and a finishing circuit in Ellensburg may offer those sprinters, who survived the mountains, a chance to go for either the stage or maybe even the points competition.
Specactors will of course enjoy the final loop through the town and the huge post-race celebration. Let's hope for an interesting race on this new route.

Preview and profiles are looking impressive. Well done!
Hope I can build a team that makes me (at least) think about participating next season.

Nice route tsmoha.
Definitely a route for the climbers with two tough time trials.
Also with 4 TT`s in total there is a lot to consider.
Great layout as well.

Definately one for the climbers. Very nice route, very nice to get away from Cali and visit some new and different places.

Looks stunning! I will definitely give it a try. Could I turn it into a Vuelta variant for the career mode? Both technically speaking (I assume I'd just add top_vuelta_ to the filenames?) and... "logically"? |

Yes of course, you just gotta add top_vuelta instead of c1_america or whatever and add after the stage number a variant name to differeniate it from the 2014/2015 route
What do you mean by logically?

Cheers! With logically I just meant... tsmoha wrote in the opening post "the Continental Tour's very own Grand Tour". So I thought I should replace the "weakest" of the Grand Tours. On the other hand, the best riders turn up for the TdF and this tough course deserves the best riders. So maybe I'll turn it into a TdF variant instead. Can't wait to give it a try. |

Ooh, you could up its popoularity in sta_race if that's what you mean
You could also create a startlist if you want.
