that annoys me, my team not joining the breakaway again and it surviving as well as Jeannesson going from 15th to 18th. This race is going to end up giving me less than 5 points in total.

Sigh. It's one thing to let the break win..., but giving two of them the time get within Top10 can't be allowed. Need to address to my guys that the race isn't over yet and that they are "allowed" to take responsibility in situations like that.

This is great. Not only a great result for Gallego, but he also moved up in the GC, meaning TomTom has 2 guys in the Top 10

Mmmm. Frustrating stage for Nutresa. Some reports make it in to the newspapers questioning team head honchos sanity as he is repeatedly heard ranting and raving about 'damn PCM AI fail'; nobody is sure what the hell he is talking about .

Great to see Carapaz in the break and Castano keeping his GC-spot. Could turn out to be a decent race in the end.

Nice that there wasn't much of a shakeup on GC, otherwise a quiet day. Congrats to Carlsberg for their first win
Annoys me that we're one point behind on points classification..

YES!!!!!
We waited till the last bloody stage and we finally get points and in the form of a victory
I knew the team needed to get into the breakaway and we do so and Juan Sebastian Tamayo Martinez gets a great win for the team

Bah, breaks are so boring.. Pity that Bugge lost the point classification, but obviously a great race for us. Thanks for the reports, Smowz.

Was a limited race from us. Matteo Montaguti showed a flawless performance, but wasn't strong enough to stay with the best. Anyway, he'll get additional chances in the Italien races at the end of the season.
Gratz to Risa-Ergon and thanks for reporting, Smowz!

Can't complain about this race, De Greef very good and the rest of the team was good as well. Thanks for reporting, really enjoyed it.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

While Algarve was a big celebration festival for us this wasn't. I said in the beginning that every point would be a bonus and unfortunately, the race did not had much to cheer about

It's disappointing to get pipped on the line like that, but great job by Hansen not sitting around just because we won last stage.

Well, that was pretty disastrous for us, though I really *should* have seen it coming... At least Kotchekov salvaged a few points for us at the end, though the irony of being beat by one of the riders I sold in the transfer season in that same breakaway is not lost on me either!
Nice reports as ever Smowz.

Wanted a win as a goal, but can't be disappointed with a podium. It's a shame we were so close to getting second, but it is what it is. Uneventful final stage for our team, but yet again a break takes the stage.
I think it might be a sign that good flat stats are incredibly important!
