Good to see my team being active, that's worth something at least. Velits and Barta did pretty well, hoping for a good performance in the ITT from them.

What a great race for Geschke! Another podium is awesome. Saying this, great work from all of my team members pulling back the early attacks and taking some pressure from Geschke. Geschke is on his way to the top of the individual CT ranking.
Too bad that he will lose his GC lead but i hope he can stay inside the top ten to grab up some more points.
The better GC guess for my team is propably Gert Joeaar who might even get into the top 5 but a top 8 should be what we can expect. And Saramotins should end inside the (GC) points, too.
But no matter how this stage goes, Evonik has already gained a lot of points!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Amused me a little that Arredondo is in the KoM jersey.
Nice report admir, an interesting battle up to Malhao. Mendes deserved the stage win, but Geschke is really having a great race.

Another pretty anonymous stage from our boys if you judge it by our finishing position but Wang has got a KOM top 3 which might give us a point or two but I'm not sure.
Now its time for Stannard to take back these 47 or so minutes that he's lost on the TT

Wow, thrilling final!
Reto struggling to stay with the best, but still in podium reach. Overall great race for Vontobel with Lang and Hollenstein scoring big and Martin Kohler might stay in Top30.
If I would have to bet on it, my money would go to Mendes for the deserved home win,... but luckily there's no need to . Elijzen is looking good, too. Would be interesting to see how far he can climb in the ranking... and if it'll be the first time Stennard got beaten in a CT-timetrial.

Great stage by Mendes, getting his first win in his home race! Now hoping for him to pull a Quintana and win the race on the TT.

Elijzen on 3 minutes is not bad. He most certainly won't win the GC, but with some crappy TTists in front of him, there's some potential.

I apologize for really slow pace and for quite bad final report, but that's it. Hope that you enjoyed race & reports, I did my best.

Nice detailed text along with the pics, I like it!
Poor performance from Cruz, expected a bit better but then again the hilly section might have held him back a bit. Great rider from Lewis too, he surely can be a decent rider at all disciplines. Not much to look forward to in this race now, but you never know, may be a breakaway..
Edit: Wait, I am an idiot, that was the final stage ...

I can't be unhappy with that result
2nd on the same time hurts though, but still, amazing job by Elijzen, and Duggan as well!
Shame that Duggan ruined his GC earlier on

As a manager with a TTist as leader, I'm a little concerned that form seems more important than stats. Even with the hill, Elijzen, Cruz and Stannard should have done better. |

A very different TT report and a very good report to wind up the Algarve. Nice screenshot for Bonsucro, for me it is the easily the best screenshot I have seen for Bonsucro yet.
Great final stage TT for Nicacio, but the AI was laughable, I would expects gaps all round to have been much much larger over a 34 KM TT. |

And a sixth place in GC concludes a great race for Geschke. Gives me big hopes for the rest of the season!

Really turned out to be a great race for us, never on the top step of the podium, but 2nd in the GC, got a 2nd on stage 3, and a handful of top 10s in the race. Will happily accept.

Well didn't lose too much time there which is good.
4th and 6th on Stage 3.
First in KOM.
5th and 19th in GC.
Not too bad a race for the team.

Congrats to everyone who did well, turns out it was a mistake sending Stannard here, maybe Beauce would have been a better choice for him, oh well, hope it isn't a sign of things to come...

I expected basically nothing out of this race and got a little bit more than nothing with two in top 20 GC. It's hard to perform with a split squad
