I see Van Heerden made it back on, however the Aker sprinters have been nowhere did this team not do a pre season training camp or something? Hagen ran out of power at the end of Badaling also.
Fingers crossed it's just a slow start. Though, I do fear Catalunya now, as both Van Heerden and Impey will race there after I threw in Van Heerden as my last decision doing the race planning.
Thanks for the great pace on the reports! That was a weird sprint though, but it really makes the fight for the placings behind Boonen and Bewley wide open. As it stands now, top time trialists have a great chance at the overall podium. |

Major WTF moment there - great to see that destructive echelons can be formed though, makes for some really exciting racing/reading

If Kuznetsov already wins in the PT, imagine him back with my team!

More echelons and more riders losing time. |

Some intense riding in Qatar, it's a pleasure to watch even without competing. Great to see the variety eventhough all the stages are virtually the same.

Fiedler is looking really good, constantly outperforming Kip.. who I had expected more from since these stages are pancake flat, oh well!

Is it greedy of me to feel disappointed that Viviani didn't make the front group?
Yes it is - I have to be happy, several of the sprinters teams will be very disappointed.
I would have said Cancellara was an outside bet for a top 10 before the race. Now he could even finish 3rd or 4th overall. I think Fiedler may just beat him again on the TT and it could be tight with guys like Cornu. But I guess one more flat stage to survive first.

Horrible news for all those sprinters being dropped. Not sure why so many got caught in that splits, but i like the fact that Wen Hao Li's chances of scoring big time ain't that bad actually.

All my time trialist without time loss is great. A pity that Ballan got caught this time. He actually shouldn't with 79 flat.
Guardini without doing anything here. Schädlich with top10 chances now with some sprinters dropped.
Boonen, Bewley and then TT. |

A podium, wow. That's nice
Posthuma looking good for a decent GC placing now.
Oh, and the this year's red looks better than last year's blue on my jersey

Brave Sibilla! Nice to see him being rewarded for constantly trying.
For the GC, we've never been in the mix for a top 10, but Kruijswijk might, just might, be in the figt for a top 30
A couple of teams looks to score very well here with some of their time trialists up there. |

That were 2 insane stages where my team did some big show! Firstly, a gap in a sprint stage in a sprint? Nice tactics, Bewley!
And then, my team completly crushed the scene, what a big surprise for me! Jesse Sergent's FL stat was likely the difference, plus he should be now in a play for a top 10 overall result, that's fantastic. The only pity is Howard wasn't in that front group, but still he already got me a lot of points from stages, that's not bad as well. At least PCM13 AI can do echelons, good news. Hopefully Bewley can still beat Boonen - a win in the last stage and it is doable in the final TT. GO SAM!

Very interesting stage with well deserved win for breakaway. Without any bonus seconds for Bewley, overall win is again little bit closer. It's great to see 6 of my riders in reduced first peleton. It will bring some unexpected extra points for my team. Surprisingly Mohs and Kluge weren't among them. Possible third place overall for time-trialist is also big surprise for me.

Thanks for the swift reporting!
Thought for a second Dempster didn't make the cut but he is looking good so far. Should be able to Top 10 now and maybe Reckweg in the Top 20!

Seems as if my 3 time trialists are the only called leaders here and Guardini is just not being interested because of that. But as those 3 are the better point scorers in the end, I don`t care too much. |

If Van Heerden continues like this, you'll probably sell him to me for 500k next transfers
Awesome following this race! Love the difference this wind is making! And damn Becherovka ripped that stage apart Bewley might be in for an overall win! I think that will be quite a result for the team
