Once again Mobil and Kenya have swapped positions, Mobil going back into the Top 10.
Vattenfall's move up is irrelevant, so it is good news for MTN that they hold off FC Barcelona.
And it is an important late climb for Adira, to move ahead of Risa and Boeing.

A few more points from utah than i expected, so a next little step for Oz. If nothing goes seriously wrong, we should be able to score a few more points in Beijing and Japan, too.

With only Zuri-Metzgete left, we can still reach 8th place. Altough unlikely though.
Still, 10th place is a huge achivement for us. |

SN by my count, had 74 points in Utah and not 68. Is not it important or even make big difference.
Fabio Silvestre: 23pts
Galta: 12pts
Reis: 17pts
Cabreira: 7pts
Team: 15pts
Now only one race left to run and no big difference will be made for us

We'll probably end up as 8th if Vorganov and Fonte ride a decent Zuri Metzgete.

Taking tiny steps at a time but just about pulling clear of relegation from what I think of below Bingtang look in real trouble with no more races left but i guess with two teams looking already down their hoping the teams below aren't scoring come at the end. |

Silvestre and Beyer jointly won the KoM, so they got 8 points each for the final standings, and 1 point each for the post-Stage 5 standings.
I am guessing you instead gave Silvestre 11 points for the final standings, 2 points after Stage 5, and another 2 points after Stage 6 - where those points don't get awarded since it is the final stage.

PCT
Not the race that Rothaus had hoped for, so it seems like Tinkoff, ING, Vueling and Bouygues Telecom will take the Top 4 positions in the standings. But we know that at least 6 will promote, so that should see Rothaus up still.
Bpost hold that 6th spot, but VolksWagen enjoyed a strong race here thanks to a depth of squad that they did not have last season, and are closing in. Gautier needs to step up in Japan, to fight off Flugel and crew. Prio-Porto now slip to the 8th active position. So close for them, but they would now need 2 ProTour squads to disband in order to promote.
Now, relegation. Cisco, UPC, Repsol, CSC-Orbea and LukOil were all here - but none did particularly well, and so failed to capitalise on the opportunity. 2 points separates UPC and Repsol for the final safe spot - but while UPC ride in Japan, Repsol do not. It is up to CSC-Orbea now to fight their way out of trouble in Japan. LukOil and WWE will also be in Japan - WWE can still move up those standings!
Mid-table, it is a case of whether Vespa can overhaul Sram for the final Top 10 spot - in the last race for both teams. HTC have overtaken Metinvest-Emirates by 1 point, and look set to be crowned best 'new' PCT team. Meiji-Cannondale jump up to 16th after a strong performance, but will have to fight Sweadbank in Japan to hold that spot. Evian and Oz are also very close for 18th.

CT standings remain unchanged from this race. The Japan Cup report will be up in a couple of hours...

6 promotion teams sounds very nice for my team.
Had actually hoped to pass Bouyguess in Beijing.
Now I can only hope that Bpost and Volkswagen don`t have huge races in Japan.
Should be top6 though. Nice.
Thanks for those updates, SN.

Hold off Oz and take 3rd best new PCT team. Imagine if Napolitano had performed in Herald Sun...
Will there be a list of disbanding teams posted soon like last season, SN? |

When the season ends later today, the thread will go up for existing teams to request to continue in the game for a new season, and post details about any sponsor changes planned.
I'll have a list in that of the teams definitely disbanding - but there are a few borderline teams whose continuation is more up in the air, and might not definitely be known until new managers are chosen.

35 points... It's possible but going to be very hard. Come on Costa!
Edit: Oh, I'm curious. What happens if there is a tie?

I'm relying on Gautier. You should be fine
Yeah I think VolksWagen will overtake me though. Their squad depth will probably be enough to overhaul me in this race, but still I hope that they don't.

Can't believe we have clinched the 'best new' team in PCT with the amount we have spent on the talents. Brillaint! Certainly a very successfully season for us. Hopefully next one will be even better.
If at the beginning we'd buy a top rider instead of Morton for that massive wage, we may have been in fight for promotion this year
Very close for Repsol, but not close enough. Very interesting battle between UPC and CSC coming, if both do well and Cisco doesn't deliver, they could face trouble too.
Battle at the top amazingly close too, although I feel Fugel needs to win the race to get that 6th place from BPost.

I guess the first tie breaker would be overall race wins, then stage wins.
