Stop calling him "Bling" Matthews. So annoying.

The only way this would have been a fair sprint would be of Sagan had to drag the Liquigas-car behind him.

Gotta love Sagan!
I didn't think he'd get back, but great ride!

Boonen stopped joining the sprint battle when the peleton went over those railroads. Looks like he stall has fear of sprinting...

He's the fastest sprinter in the field. One problem. There are mountains

And of all the sprinters though he's the one that will have the least problems with the climbs, he won't win the GC, but he will get over all the hilly crap.

I got to mute Liggett/Sherwen tomorrow...
Roche getting up with two of his team mates. They clearly pass the 3km sign. "Oh well, at least they were inside the last 3k" (timing says 2.8, obviously for the bunch though).

Saw stage 2. Change of plan. 50£ on Sagan then
Btw, to all Boonen-die-hardfans. That's why Boonen's SPR and ACC stat stays as it is. He rarely does bunch sprints now.

Hmm... Almost kinda odd seeing someone who is so confident on cobbles be so carefull in a sprint.

+1 I thought he would get back to the peloton but to win the sprint that easily is crazy. I wonder how much Sagan would have won by if he didn't have to battle back from the flat?

Sagan is awesome. I don't know how many times I've posted this so far this season.
And it won't be the last.

Plus stuff like "He could become only the 2nd ever non-American to win the race.. this race has always been dominated by Americans", talking like the race had 50 or so editions when in fact.. it has 6

At least i am not the only one posting it day and night
After month's rest after so difficult spring and the mechanical he gets back and pawns everybody, there is noone like him in the cycling these days.
Edit: And great job from Oss to lead Sagan.

Seems he got a flat tire there, at least that's mentioned on sporza.be.

Yet, he was given the same time as Sagan according to cyclingnews.
Anyway did anyone see the crash? It was really awkward the way Matthews started to deviate right and ultimately took Ted King down, I'm curious about what originated such switch in his trajectory.

Well, either Cyclingnews is wrong, or the 3k sign was in a very wrong place.
Either way, there is no way the commentators could have known that, and visual evidence showed it happened before 3k to go.
To me, it looked like he touched the rear wheel of his team mate in front
(Or he drives a Ferrari ).
Sagan had incredible luck to not being hit as well, he was right behind King.

So Rabobank rides their ass off to drop guys like Kittel, so Matthews stands a chance.
And then Matthews takes himself out.
You can't write this in a script because then people say it's too unrealistic. But it all happens at Rabobank |
