What a day really. Been following this soap opera all day, one of those only in cycling type of days.
Another wheelsucker wins Milan San Remo Similar style of victory to Goss, that is the way for a rider like Ciolek to win it of course and I don't think it is a negative thing to say wheelsuck in this case, he did great to stick up there.
Sagan jumped a bit too early, Chavanel I think spooked him and he just went and basically did what Cancellara usually does! Still he aint an easy man too pass, ask Cavendish massive win for MTN and Ciolek. Loved it.
What to you expect..how you can win MSR with MTN-Qhubeka? |

Sagan got a taste of his own medicine.Well done Ciolek !!!
I wonder from where this nonsense comes from?
Almost all races that Sagan wins, are by his brutal attack or powerful sprint, when he wheelsucked so much? I recall only his first stage at Tour, where he wheelsucked Cance, but not much more. He on the other hand loose places last year becuase nobody worked with him and he had to push. Like this year, this is only way to beat him.

That is weird.
Damn, was considering him for Velogames team yesterday after updating stats of whole Bardini team few days ago. Great ride by him.

It was pretty obvious Sagan wouldn't win, when he was boxed in and had to push Ciolek out of the way to close down Cancellara on the Poggio.
Great win for Ciolek, and well done not going with 500 m to go like he usually does
Obvious? He lost by half a meter.
If Ciolek would not bee so strong, he would win.
I'm just talking about the fact that the entire group rode against him. He had to close down Stannard, he had to lead out the sprint.
If you watch the overhead shot you can see how strong he is, but also how he fades in the end. In the end he is almost overtaken by Cancellara. |

Not a fan of Ciolek and his wheelsucking to victory. But that's a part of cycling. |

It seems like the best way to win San Remo in these times, three years in the row now, but i dont have much against it, it is part of the game.

Still haven't quite cooled down after that amazing finish. From Cipressa onwards, this was probably the best race of the season. Only the brutal Tirreno stage comes even close.
Great day for my fantasy team as well

Honest question guys, how was watching the final of MSR? Better than sex?
Hopefully it's the opposite and it was worth missing |

Very happy for Ciolek, got pretty excited when he won. I was thinking earlier that a hilly sprinter like him, Hausseler or EBH could have a chance at the finish.
As for the wheelsucking, what did you expect? No one was willing to help Sagan.
