So no race limit and only 1-5 form. hat sucks really bad. Hopefully a patch will fix that.

There never was a race limit, though?
You have freshness and too many races will ruin freshness so it'll have the same effect. Form 1-5 is just clouding the real form, still going from 0-99. But it's nothing that they'll change in a patch, it's just a new thing they're trying out |

I know there was no race limit, but the freshness thing is not there?
And it should be 0-99. So you can actually see form.

Just see it like that.
Old system: Team Sky. You know exactly what form everyone is on, very calculated.
New system: Italian/Belgian style: you know if the legs are good or bad and then you just race on instinct
Freshness is part of the game, though, I assure you You see it at the rider season page. Racing too much brings down freshness, which replaces the old system, I guess. |

That doesn't make sense. When a team tests a rider they don't go "Oh look his form is 93%. Yesterday it was 91". They have zero way of knowing that, it's a fantasy.
In reality it goes "his form is good" or "very good". Makes perfect sense

Ok, my first impressions: Mountains looks very good, played the Torre stage and it looked very good. In the end, I got Zabel'd by Atapuma with Arroyo. Flat, there's weird stuff. Played Champs-Elysses and after the breakaway reached the minute gap, the pack couldn't put it down. In the end, Kangert was able to hold on Kittel (I was playing as Argos). Also, the flat stages look fairly easy to win when you start sprinting with 1km to go. |

Kangert is getting too sarcastic for my liking
(I gave him like 10 goals to see what he'd have high interest in)

Just seen the podium for the first time... and it's totally like you said. I was actually scared at first look in their upper body
@issoisso: do you know why there's a backlash next to each quotation mark? (like \" ). Just got me curious

\ generally is used in markup languages when writing e.g. a book before some symbols, so the program recognizes it and formats properly.

Usually " delimitates a text string. So to code that a text is going to be 'hi there luis' you would write
"hi there luis". But what if you want to put an actual " into the text?
You write \". That means the " right after the \ is not an end of text but to actually be written. Then when the text is displayed, the \ is omitted because a " comes after it.
Regardless of whether cyanide's code works like that or not, the guy who wrote the text string either was misinformed about how it works or absent-mindedly made the same typo twice.
EDIT: Would've been easier if the guy just used a ' and not have to deal with any of that nonsense

Just wondering, when do you think the DailyDB will be out? Late July, perhaps? I won't buy the game untill the DB and a proper patch has been released.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

It's usually around the end of the Tour but depends on when a usefull patch is released (I think)
How many times will this question be asked untill the release?
My guess: 2 times a day.

@Cossack and isso
Thanks both for the explanation Well it seems to work in other places like the groups page, but not in these and a couple of other messages. Not much of a problem, since they can be edited.

It grows exponentially, specially after some sort of news talking about the release is posted

Yeah it's odd. First career I had all of them.
Restarted to test more stuff, having none of the problems except for the constant crashes and the riders performing like crap because they're all annoyed that they didn't ride any World Tour races in february ( )
I've had none of the other stuff this time. Breakaways especially have been quite normal

It seems pretty random, the bugs. But they're there so they should be fixed
That WT thing in February is hell! Maybe the best way to fix that is to make Tour of Oman WT in an editor maybe? for now. |
