Surprised Rodrigo is so low, surely that's the lack of potential showing now. At least he was class A dom for Contador in the Vuelta.
The life of a domestique - all the work, none of the glory.
Onto the pure climbers, the first thing to notice is: There aren't many in the ICL. After filtering by MON 75+, TTR max 65 and MON > HIL I ended up with just these 10 riders. (This time I sorted by MON descending and then AVG descending, should have done that previously.)
Name | DIV | AVG | MO | Wage | points | Points/Wage | Atapuma | CT | 76.4 | 78 | 480 | 658 | 1.37 | Nieve | CT | 76.1 | 78 | 360 | 885 | 2.46 | Landa | WT | 74.8 | 77 | 500 | 160 | 0.32 | Pizzaballa | WT | 74.4 | 76 | 300 | 120 | 0.40 | Formolo | CT | 74.3 | 76 | 300 | 606 | 2.02 | Ochoa | CT | 73.8 | 75 | 280 | 278 | 0.99 | Rivera | CT | 73.7 | 75 | 280 | 152 | 0.54 | DÃaz | WT | 73.6 | 75 | 290 | 130 | 0.45 | Marzuki | CT | 73.2 | 75 | 260 | 241 | 0.93 | Locatelli | WT | 73.0 | 75 | 250 | 158 | 0.63 |

Shows that pure climbers are useless in WT imo

Or maybe the ICL is just missing really good pure climbers. Also, I was probably too strict with the TT stat. If I expand it to max 70 the list includes Barguil (1.68), Bardet (2.12) and Aru (2.10). Bardet only had TTR 67, definitely still a pure climber, methinks.

Here's a simple table I'm sure ICL managers will also find interesting. The data provided by Bikex included all prestige points from all four seasons so far. These are the 20 riders who collected the most prestige points from 2014 to 2017:
Vincenzo Nibali | 11921 | Chris Froome | 11373 | Nairo Quintana | 11350 | JoaquÃm RodrÃguez | 11208 | Alberto Contador | 11076 | Peter Sagan | 10537 | Philippe Gilbert | 9566 | Tejay Van Garderen | 9238 | Marcel Kittel | 8996 | MichaÅ‚ Kwiatkowski | 8949 | John Degenkolb | 8712 | Carlos Betancur | 8662 | Bauke Mollema | 6862 | André Greipel | 6856 | Rigoberto Urán | 6516 | Rafal Majka | 6415 | Daniel Martin | 6371 | Arnaud Demare | 5978 | Warren Barguil | 5683 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | 5515 |
Purito had a great final season but not enough to keep his top spot. Dombrowski is the best rider who started as a U23 in 2014 (66th with 2927 points), Marc Geyer is the best of the 2015 U23s (121st, 1601) and Engeldinger the best from the 2016 U23 crop (229th, 765).

Great to see that Nibbles overtook Froome last season!
If you still want to send in something for this free agent round do that in the next few hours! |

An interesting lack of cobblers there!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Seeing how no cobbler rider has ever been dominant throughout a season (8 single winners of Ronde and Roubaix), I am not surprised that Degenkolb and Sagan are the only ones included amongst the top scorers. Vanmarcke lacks consistency, Van Keirsbulck is top tier for 1-2 years only, and the likes of Terpstra, Kristoff etc arn't good enough either to dominate.

Vanmarcke is only just outside the top 20 (22nd, 5459), followed by Kristoff (29th, 4676), Van Keirsbulck (44th, 3822) and Terpstra (68th, 2887).

We signed Kung!
Mostly because he's Swiss and I liked his flat stat, also, it's not like we have too many riders already.

If I have some money left after this round (but less than the minimum wage for a rider), what happens to that money?

Typical, the one round where I had about 4-5 alternates I would have been equally happy with I get the two I bid on.
