It´s nice too "loan in" some riders who compete in the Spotify jersey here so that jersey can get some more wins
I can count to 6 Spotify jerseys in the 5th last pic so hopefully some of the "original" Spotify riders did something useful on stage 2
Lets keep on Team Scandinavia! |

Well, there was the opportunity for a sneaky result...7th might be worth something in the end though, with 6 stages for Herklotz and only one stage for the sprinters left.
I'm glad the crash didn't have any GC implications, that wouldn't have been how I wanted to gain time.

Korosec and Nommela in the top 10 again, I'll take that!
Luckily Vasyliv made it back, hopefully they're not injured... |

Dang, so close for Edmondson. He's doing very well so far though!

Job well done by the team again to give Holst Enger the best possible position before the sprint. Unfortunately he launched way too late and got boxed in, but that's part of the game in sprints. Good to still see him up there in fourth, though.
And congratulations, Heine! Good to see Zabel win, as he really should with such a sprint field. Looking forward to see the GC battle unfold on the hilly and mountainous terrain now. |

Great results from Kemboi in the sprints. Now its time for Kudus to hopefully take control of the race, he should be the favourite with a strong team at his disposal. |

Would be pretty dramatic for that to be it for Kasperkiewicz's race. At least he come back so we'll see how he is.
Thanks for the Report Jph!

It sucks to see Vasyliv crash. Hopefully he is not injured. On the other end of the scale its really nice to see Korosec and Nommela perform so well in the sprints.

Seid is at least up there, but hard to compete with the real guys. Maybe next year |

No breaks is disappointing but amazing to see River with a top 10 on day 2!

Really like to see the Scandinavian team work here. Great stage win for Holst Enger on the second stage. At least I hope that Søren Kragh Andersen was one of the riders helping him Thanks for all the reports so far, roturn, some great racing on the first stages, hopefully more to come.

great to see Potocki racing strong, hopefully a projection of what he is capable of doing for us from next season on
so far he is working well together with Vasyliv, who comes up with a decent result...this stage could've been much worse with the acceleration advantage of Herlotz at Huy
Mohoric too strong here which is great to see, but both him and Tanovitchii should lack the strength in the mountains
a shame to see Küng and Kudus fading via the crash though...

I'm going to assume Borisavljevic was involved in a bad split or crash because he shouldn't be finishing over 12 minutes behind the winner. It's kinds sad but hopefully he can get into a breakaway before the race finishes.

Very nice pace of reports jph27 and the Tinkoff boys are riding a good race so far, hopefully they can help Tanovitchii in the mountain stage or try to get in the break. Exciting stage ahead for sure!

Really impressive rider from De Boss on that hills stage, to get inside the Top10 is an excellent result for him. Wolverine also inside the Top20 is outstanding. Both guys going beyond expectation and confirming their worth as solid young talents.
Ewan could be doing slightly more on the sprint side of things, but when you've spent the year with such a class lead-out as at Podium Ambition some issues were to be expected. And it's not like we needed to know he's a talented rider, that was confirmed in his previous seasons.
(Note: I'm not calling my guys "Toros" btw.... lame ass name )

Cool to see Godoy within the top 10. Hope he can hold on to that place! Bad luck for the riders involved in the crash
Thank you yet again jph! |

Moscon with a decent race so far, I just wish we would join a breakaway at some point.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Sad to see Kung and Kudus probably losing the race here unless they are very aggressive at a later point.
Vasyliv did fine here, but losing a bit of seconds to Herklotz is dangerous. We need to not lose anything to him, and he must be the big favorite now.
BUT! I definately wouldn't rule out a rider like Mohoric. With only two mountaintop finishes and a MO stat of 70 we have seen in especially the Grand Tours, that the puncheurs can fight for top positions for a very long time. His TT stat is probably costing him the chance to win the race, but I wouldn't rule him out of the podium...

Yep, he's injured, at least a podium in the prologue makes this a good race for him.
Maybe now that our team's lost all the possible GC hopes it means the team can properly pursue breaks though
Thanks jph!
