Here here - amazing work from everyone here.
I am pretty happy with Saeco's situation - I tried to move a few riders about but I am probably a little overly nationality focussed to really move up the league, but in a way I just do not care - I really enjoy seeing the team race and I am hopeful of them striking in breakaways with greater frequency.
Fiat I decided to try and go full on development rather than go for a team that would actually do well. Was not aware that 23 year olds do not get full benefit of being in the U23's.

@knockout: Yeah I understand what you are saying. Maybe I could've left out riders below a certain level when calculating the depth score. However, the weightage given to the leader scores were a lot higher than that given to the depth scores when calculating the final rankings. That brings up Allianz's score quite a bit, closer to where they should be.
Feedback well received
Edit: Also, thanks to everyone for the good words . Tbh I wouldn't have gone with this exact same rankings if I'd done the review subjectively. So was in a fix which way to go. In the end, this seemed close and I decided to stick to it.

Awesome work! Love the fact both previews complement each other, one being more subjective - but still quite relatable - and the other quite a bit more mathematical.
The fact we're outside the relegations spot must be the highlight of Abhishek's

Now you scaring me.
Thanks Abishkek for another great preview, very interesting to see the squads analysed in this way.

It was one hell of previews. Amazing work from all of you!
My team doesn't look good in a AbhishekLFC preview... Hope my results will prove this wrong. Also I have nothing to add for the first preview. That's... It's just incredible what you guys did . |

Wow, some pretty amazing preview works here, thanks guys!
Croatia + Jandal are very optimistic about my team, I thought even a top 10 would be much above expectations but I'm happy for you to be right , while Abhishek puts us a bit closer to what I was hoping for at best, although didn't think our cobbles depth was that good, honestly not expecting that much from Terpstra this season.
Super previews though, love having the more mathematical analysis complimenting a really in-depth analysis of the teams, thanks a lot for the great read guys!

fantastic work Abishkek! I love to see a comletely different preview, especially it puts us up pretty high
@brewers: as said in the preview, your team might be the most tricky WT one...could go very very good (Top 5) or also far behind expectations (outside Top10), at least in my opinion

Thanks for the great previews. Haven't had time to read much more than those of my own team, but I'll give those a comment on the way.
Largely I agree with the predictions. I have laid weight on having a team capable of picking up points in every race and dominating TT's as well as finally uniting the Ludvigssons. Rojas is great, Amador is great. Interesting to have Hardy mentioned by croatia as he's a rider I picked up in the last round of FA bidding as well.
It's obvious that I pla nto win every TTT I enter and shake things up the rest of the time.
Surprised to see me as strongest CT cobbles team in Abishek's ranking. TT is as expected and the emphasis I put on depth rewards me with another predicted division win.

Thanks for all the kind words and although I haven't gone in-depth on Abhishkek's yet nice work, seems with your maths and our subjectivity we've complimented each other quite well. Seems your calculation don't like my team as much as Croatia though
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

A small little tit-bit: I tried out 4-5 different weight combinations to see which one produced a ranking which was closest to what my impressions on the WT and CT were. In the WT, the different combinations produced a different outcome at the top - with Feryn, CSC and Italo Ventilair taking top spot in different scenarios. However, in the CT, no matter what combination I tried out, Fiskars were ahead and comfortably so in each combination! Safe to say who the overwhelming favourite for the CT title is
@Matt: Glad I made your day
@Shonak: I don't think you need to worry about relegation though!
@dominox: Go prove me wrong, what do I know about all this
@trekbmc: You never know, Terpstra is super strong. Right planning can take you higher as well.
@Croatia:
@Atlantius: Please let us win some CT races here and there. Pretty please
@Jandal: Personally, I'd put Santos a bit higher myself. But the Math doesn't lie, or does it?

Great review by jandal, croatia and Abhishek!
This year will be a kind of recognition year, my goal is to NOT finish last, even though I have a feeling, we do

You know this happens faster than you can anticipate?
@Abhishek: I hope so. I have done the planning by now and I actually have a good feeling, nice varied WT calendar and some nice CT races.
This season will be amazing.

Great previews, Croatia and jandal's took me almost an hour to read, can't imagine how much effort was put it in. Abishkek's is also very interesting, was first surprised to see Italo top the table in specialities I didn't think we were really good, but in the second table it looks more realistic then. |
