Fantastic from Manarelli.
That looks to have secured him a decent GC place already as I can't see a break making it to the finish. A beautiful report to read after missing a win goal. |

Well for a moment, I thought that we actually did something well but hey, we managed to fuck something up in the end 8th is still creditable but still isn't bonus seconds

Senni is doing a good job, but one more second would've been nice.
Peeters, well, he had worse. Podium or stage win would be even better though.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wonderful by Matthews that, looks very good for a GC win now. A big thank you to ONCE for their lead-out Just keep it together now!

Well that was an astonishing sprint from Forero, why can't he do that every day?
'Forero style racing' Love it! His positioning ineptitude seems to be gathering a reputation

I really should have sent a leadout train here. It's the only race that suits Rasmussen to a tee, but with positioning sometimes it doesn't work out.

As I said at the end of the classifications, bear with me that I didn't have the time yet to manually add all stage points together to figure out who really won the team classification, because it most definitely isn't Chiquita, thanks PCM.
Come back to this thread probably sometime tomorrow to find out.

Wasn't it Freire who once asked 500 metres from the line how much more kilometres before the finish? Well, that's Peeters for you.
8th and 12th in the GC and 3rd in youth, not bad. Thanks for the reports!

Both Matthews and Manarelli have had great races here - so great to see Red Bull alumni doing well. Was hard to let both guys go, but we were moving on to bigger things and the sprinters didn't fit. Very glad to see both these youngish sprinters nabbing wins.

Good to see the sprinters fighting it out here.
Nice little C2 sprinter stage race comparable with Qatar but less wind. |

Simply fantastic, Manarelli takes his second win and ends the GC in second place, he is really starting to earn his spots. The two times he has had a fantastic position in the sprints here he has finished it off emphatically.
What can I say about Borges, fantastic again and takes home another jersey. Definitely resurrects our month after some so-so performances.
- A few negatives here, but only a few, will be discussed in our review of the race later on in the team thread.
- Super reporting throughout the race, all the sprints had me on tenterhooks and Safarzadeh riding the most retarded race I have ever heard of (even for PCM) gave me some laughs.

Meh, guess I'll have to be happy with 3 top 10's so not all bad, but not a lot of points either...
Shame we didn't get anyone in the breaks either, but I guess that is down to having a sprint 'favourite' but hey, Rowe did better than I ever thought he would!

Congrats Risa for Matthews winning this. Cool race for me liking with also Drapac on the podium and Rasmussen doing so well.

Good reporting. Good racing. Rasmussen was consistent but after his stage just not there near the front.
