I'm down to 3.2 for two riders, and hoping I get them to add much needed strength to key areas. Sadly looked for depth and all-roundedness in the team in early rounds, as opposed to a few riders who might be able to go and score big wins...

I planned to invest a lot in scouting, but by getting 3 of my top4 riders for the minimum wage in 3.1 things changed a lot. Now I can really look forward to hilly and cobbled classics, especially the italian and baltic ones but my scouting project will be really shortened by that surprising signings

Bugger. I only needed three riders but put in an offer for a 4th in case I got outbid. No one wants the best three and I lose 50 budget points as a result. Hopefully he can make up for that in the near future though

@oz: I considered that tactic as well but decided against it just in case that scenario happened

Yeah, I didn't think anyone would go for them but the three I wanted were just talented enough that it was possible. If nothing else, this teaches me to always use the full budget in the opening round instead of purposefully leaving some money aside - that might have helped me avoid this.
I don't want to complain too much though, Aarts could potentially become a very good rider.

Is there a min amount of race days a rider needs? Would be a major factor in deciding new deals.
I also assume I've got about an hour to get it done?

Do we not have to send FA bids in now or something?

Xmas miracle, i don't have to stab JoeArmstrong to death! Brambilla completes tops of LIUCPORENYARTEH for next season. TVG, Rolland, Bardet and Kelderman can all play leader role. Gavazzi, Petit and Vichot take the sprinters role to cover those intermediate stages. Behind that is some great agressive depth from riders like Roy, Rabottini, Brambilla and beyond. Latour and Lecuisinier provide two great talents as well.
Overall happy enough with the team i've put together. Kept very much to my philosophy and i can't ask for much more than that

Missed out on riders again in the 3.2 round! No real big hitters in the Rapha-Rouleur camp, and looking at the updated db, the riders I rejected in favour of those I bid on are nicely available! I am not a happy hoyle!

I'm pretty happy with my team, no really big names, but a lot of consistent riders, so I think I can get up to the WT, also hoping that this team is good enough for a giro/tour wildcard.

Crap, TMM stole my Brambilla
I should have bid way more on him, now I'll have a bit more money on reesearch though...
But now that I look into the db, I wouldn't have spent 500 at all
Good that I got Bouet though, he's a good stage racer for CT level
Though, stupid me, I would have got Quaade, but I was sure of getting Brambilla so I just put the minimum wage...

I now added riders to the teams that weren't full and to the one's that asked me for it, so the final db is here: https://www.mediafire.com/?qm9s38c9tl...8c9tlv46yo
Riders that still were signed after round 3.2 in the spoiler:
Spoiler Michele Scarponi | Avia - Orlen Oil | Matthew Busche | Rapha - Rouleur Pro Cycling | Roger Kluge | Rapha - Rouleur Pro Cycling | Frederico Figueiredo | LA Aluminios - Antarte | Peter Erdin | Swiss Life Team | Laurent Beuret | Swiss Life Team | Geoffrey Soupe | Swiss Life Team | Vegard Stake Laengen | Fred Whitton Race Team | Rasim Reis | Team Istanbul Cycling | Fatih Keles | Team Istanbul Cycling | Feritcam Samli | Team Istanbul Cycling | Marios Athanasiades | Team Istanbul Cycling | Bekir Baki Akirsan | Team Istanbul Cycling | Serhat Sert | Team Istanbul Cycling | Tigran Korkotyan | Team Istanbul Cycling | Andrei Nechita | Team Istanbul Cycling | Marcos GarcÃa | ExxonMobil - Geberit | Andreas Stauff | ExxonMobil - Geberit | Jean-Christophe Peraud | ExxonMobil - Geberit | David Albos | ExxonMobil - Geberit | Nils Politt | ExxonMobil - Geberit | Tim Reske | ExxonMobil - Geberit | Jan Dieteren | ExxonMobil - Geberit | Franco Pellizotti | Bulgaria Air | Zoltan Sipos | Bulgaria Air | Radostin Yordanov | Bulgaria Air | Armands Becis | Air Baltic - Rietumu Racing | Ivars Prokofjevs | Air Baltic - Rietumu Racing | Gediminas Bagdonas | Air Baltic - Rietumu Racing |
I'll leave tomorrow until Jan 6th, but I'll leave you here with two tasks:
U23 Team Selection: https://www.mediafire.com/download/vi9...ction.xlsx (Only for teams with dev teams)
Please open the last db and sort the riders by their team, copy your entire team and paste it in cell A1 (the red one). Then open the table U23 selection. There you'll see all your riders listed, next to them there is a field either colored red, green or orange. If its read the rider isn't eligible for your U23 team, if it's green or orange the rider is. The field will be orange if the rider has an average of over 71 and could also do good in the main team.
Your U23 team needs 8-10 riders. But make sure your main team won't have too less riders then.
THe added up wage of your dev team should be 1000-1500. If you're below 1000 you'll need a minimum talent focus which the file calculates for you.
WHen done send me columns A-G of the U23 Selection table.
Budgetplanning: https://www.mediafire.com/download/cmm...nning.xlsx(for everyone with money left)
Here you can decide how much on your money you want to spend for research and scouting. After putting your team ID in decide on a talent focus (0-100) and an amount you want to use for research.
I'd like you to use all your money for either of those. If you don't send in anything everything will be used for research.
