Simon Yates capping a great year with a great NC ride. Had hoped GB would be a big enough race to actually make a race and give G a chance, but i'll take 2nd for Simon

I can't say I expected that one A great ride by Rodrigues, who got me my least expected NC so far. Not in the last place because it's the only one so far I did not win automatically

Happy that Stannard has retained his NC, shame that some others havnt gone as well as expected but we'll take what we've been given

Thanks, for the consideration, man, this is just so awkward. I mean even statistically what's the likelihood of these many failures?

Once in a Gustavovskiy? Sounds like the sort of phrase an egg-headed stats boffin might use .
Soz Gustav, the curse continues. Has to go your way sometime, but sure given history the bookies will be backing against you come 2017 NC.

Indeed, Scorchio, this has grown out of proportion.
Maybe I could keep only one portuguese rider next year. One really poor with no chance of winning whatsoever... maybe that could work, who knows?

Didn't expect much in France but it was great to see a pretty good race. Will have to improve my French contingent for next season.

Clement Koretzky would have been a good national champion, but to fight it out against former Festina riders (one from loan), Arnaud Demare and Laurent Pichon aswell as having a total of 5 riders in the top 10 shows that we have a great base in France.
Arnaud Demare will also be a very good - and visable French NC. Big congrats to him, and thanks for a thrilling race - One of few.
Jerome Coppel taking the TT was a given - much like Panagiotis Vlatos taking the Greek TT. To get 3/4 NC jerseys from my two key areas is really nice.

Thrilling road race with a nice winner as well.
Had hoped/dreamt of an upset in the TT, but Coppel really is a couple of levels above everyone else.

Really disappointed to miss out on the Swiss NC this year.
We still haven't taken either Swiss title yet and when I saw Hugentobler in the break I thought it was destined to be as he has had an amazing season and him taking the NC title would have been the perfect cap to it.
For him to miss out by less than half a wheel hurts so bad as this is exactly the kind of guts and determination that he has shown all season to over perform so massively to become my favourite rider on my team and I felt he had a real shot of winning that uphill sprint to the line.
p.s. I guess that is a late race attack and not another breakaway win.

Finally! An NC victory! It hasn't happened since the Danish Champs in 2014, so I'm really happy to see Oste-Macdonald come out on top, though perhaps it would have been more well deserved for a team like Spotify. Either way, it's nice to come out of here with at least one new jersey!

Our most important jersey was taken by Carlsberg. Congrats bbl!
Atleast we won the TT. |

Had hoped for better results in Sweden, but oh well. Big congrats to bbl on snatching the RR, Spotify certainly didn't manage to use their team strength. At least the TT for viking, though...
