Nice ride by Pavel, randomly one of my favourite riders in the team. Class act.
Nice to see Belgian win, Roturn getting his break success, he can't complain now, or can he
Great job Tsmoha as ever, the best.
The break can't win the Worlds RR, the Belgian team is just ridiculous if they don't catch the break than just.....

Kind of glad Terasaki didn't win, or I'd have to sign him

Well that was unexpected. Congrats roturn for this unique victory. There aren't many managers who can brandish this sort of title.
Again thanks for reporting tsmoha I'm curious though, was that a Gazelle jersey?

Yap, but I can't tell you why or if it happened by accident Some shirts were kinda f**ed up. I fixed a few (like Sweden and South Africa), but for those mixed teams in the U23 race, I kinda lost track and gave up on it. Iirc, it was the Euro Mix racing in Gazelle's colors

So the season I trade Frison away he goes on to win the U23 RR? Typical
Congrats roturn, you deserve something like this at the end of a rough season.

CountArach must be unhappy as well asking me pre season for a Frison (72TT, 77max) with maxed Van Aelbroeck (75 TT).
Well I still think I did well out of that deal. I wanted Van Aelbroeck to plug into my TTT squad right away and it turns out the only win I got during the season was in a TTT so no regrets there (I think he was in that squad...). I've got plenty of young time trialists.

Disappointed. Vesely underachieved once again.
Thanks for the report.

Kulimbetov with a solid performance after the break, our scouts were very active today and gave us a list of four riders that we have to take a closer look on.
Phenomenal win by Frison and congrats roturn! And thanks a lot tsmoha! |

Does a break win everything now? or is that just from epic?

Great race for the Vontobel guys.
Andrea Manfredi was our only rider not scoring a single ranking point this season, ...the podium here was exactly the kind of motivational push he needed. There's a lot to expect from him in the future.
Théry Schir ending 8th is another result to be proud of.
Thanks for another great report, tsmoha!

So, the Elite RR then.
Belgium look (as usual) frightening, but it could easily become a disaster if the hill takes too much out of Vantomme and he's the designated final leadout rider for Boonen.
Germany on the other hand, if they go with Ciolek behind Degenkolb, that could be very tough to challenge for anyone in the sprint preparations as Degenkolb has shown several times this season. Don't believe in Mohs being a real contender for the gold here, though, he has surprised this season with his consistency. Big question probably if Germany are allowed to make a train by the AI, considering the AI will probably rank other sprinters better than Ciolek, and thus not give him a train.
Italy with several cards to play as well, it will be very disappointing if they're not part of the late attacks (assuming they will come). Guarnieri should also be amongst the favourites if it comes down to a proper sprint.
Bewley, Swift and Guerao also up there, but not all of them can have a train, and it will be interesting to see what nations AI picks for that job.
Then there are all the strong flat guys, and I still fancy one of them to win it solo ahead of the bunch, fingers crossed Boasson Hagen is one of those trying. |

That seems like fair payoff for the effort Goss manager has put in over the season. Great race, it was actually a sprint. Canada was off being visible and overall it was a very enjoyable read.
Congrats to Goss and his obviously cheating manager

Thank goodness it wasn't Trofimov in a bunch sprint...
Swift well in there but needed to be in Holloway's position - that might probably have cost him. If only Luke Rowe and Kennaugh had got their act together and provided a lead out train.
Shame the large break with Frank Schleck in didnt go away and stay clear
Congrats tsmoha!

So, how many times did you have to rerun the race before Goss won it?
Nah, just kidding! Exciting race to read and pretty solid sprint AI too. Congrats!

Congrats Tsmoha. Nicely done by Goss and he will lead your team in PT in rainbow colours then.
Shame that Germany with this potential train did not go for one. Same obviously counts for Italy.
Nice to see former div2 star Torckler bringing Bewley into position.
And Trofimov obviously just good no matter where he starts. |

Congrats to tsmoha and Goss, it's always nice to see an ex-Bacardi doing great things. I'm happy with Ulissi's 8th place as it shows he is a very capable rider and in the 3 one day races he's raced on PT level, he's done great (top 10 in MSR & here and top 5 in LBL). Great result for Trofimov aswell; gold would have been the perfect reward for his season, but he's already won so much so ...
