Farrar!
By the way, not often do you sprint with the jersey half-opened, right?

Sagan was too insistent on following his own man instead of just latching to another train...

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Puzzled why Sagan didn't tell his team mate to get him further up with 500m to go, he could've easily won then...

Matthews horribly blocked by Hushovd and Meersman. Could have challenge again for the win. Oh well.
Good win from Farrar. |

Garmin worked perfectly in the end their. Lost the train at the end but left Farrar in the perfect position 3rd wheel. Farrar may not be a worl class sprinter anymore, and he may not have the acceleration, but he can hold a sprint pretty well.

It was only about overtaking Hanson after Meersman left that gap, so nothing special.
Although I like to see him take a win again, last one is from USAPCC.

I know, I'm just fanboying. Is that his last win since the 2011 TDF? Besides USAPCC ofc. That doesn't count.

But watching the replay, the "top" sprinters here didn't really make up much ground on him, until he'd stopped pedaling to do a celebration. I mean sure it doesn't mean much, but its a more convincing win than his wins from the USAPCC.
It was a flash of his former self

Last win outside the US, that was. Utah plus two TTTs in between.

Agreed.
By the way, the stream still stops no matter where you are in the broadcast.

Wow a double celebration for Garmin-Sharp, they really need this win since their leaders are slacking at the moment, to boost team morale.

I'm amused this topic has 11 pages.
Anyway, this Farrar dude - did I get his name right? - seems to have come out of nowhere this year. Must be doping
