Feels like there was a good chance for a result, but unfortunately none of our relatively good positioned riders managed to jump across to the winning group.
Still a somewhat decent result with some decent depth scoring. Big win for Fastned and Vansevenant. Congrats roturn!

Nice!
Not only that my team worked all day delivering it perfectly, Vansevenant also with full attention for the right move around most expected names.
In a sprint after those hills a lot can happen but usually Vansevenant is strong then and this showed today. Huge win for the team, much needed and obviously winning MSR is a MG highlight in the team`s existence.
It makes it even better as it was the team`s win goal. Rarely happens for me to hit this one.
Vliegen in 10th kind of surprising, guess he was the last rider with Vansvenant, who didn`t have to work as much as Teuns, Denz etc.. This clearly compensated for the missing depth point for all others, who dropped out of the top100 after their chasing.
Thanks for the report and congrats to the other lucky ones as well. |

Congrats Roturn!
What a win that is being in the right attack and not wasting his energy like he has done on so many times in the past! Cool to see Romo in 3rd starting to prove he's a big gainer from the game change Remco and Pidcock just both monsters on all terrain as well with good results.
Might go unnoticed from where he finished but Aniokowski is an absolute monster on this version and that sprint from the peloton is so impressive for 11th would have been an easy winner |

We are covered by Aniolkowski in a sprint, but I'd rather see Remco or Gerts go on the attack.
Me and my damn mouth. Now I wish it would have been a sprint. Like jt noticed, Aniolkowski won the sprint by a mile.
Anyway, we don't have anyone in the top 5, but in terms of depth we did great here, with 3 riders at the very top and 2 other ones in the first 31.
Congrats to roturn and thanks for the report. It looks like it was quite a fun race.

Interesting race here, and certainly can’t be unhappy with the result! Obviously having a rider in the final group of 10 to then end 8th could have gone better, but I was never going to expect more from Kinoshita. And to see both Farantakis and Boutopoulos towards the front to Pick up solid depth points is very cool.
Also Nice to see Vansevenant win this one!

Thank you for the report! That looked to have been a cool race to see unfold.
And haha, I couldn’t have been more wrong in what I expected from us! Romo covering attacks on the Poggio was very cool, and great to see. But to then have him sneak away with the other top 10 riders, was brilliant. And to even have Toupalik up there too was sensational Coming away from this with 3rd and 5th is obviously a massive, massive result for us.
The same can also be said for other teams being represented in that front group, either by podium positions, congratulations, both roturn and beagle, or amazing depth Xero, Rabobank and ELCO.
It was also cool to see Konychev be aggressive from far out. Impossible to succeed, it turned out, but I enjoyed seeing him try. Kragh on the other hand was anonymous, which I guess can be down to anything. Feels really difficult to try to set my team up to give Konychev/Kragh a proper chance at winning in Sanremo, but I’m sure we will try again next season |

Yeah, chasing all day long and disappearing on the Poggio. Fantastic strategy.
Just fuck off.

Congrats to Roturn, seemed like an great race. Vansevenant matches Pidcock in MSR wins, looking forward to that battle continuing for years.
Bagioli with a great second, have to try and remember why I gave him up.

Quarter of the season done already and by this point I've been conditioned to not care about shit results, because they are inevitable.
Thanks for the report.

That would've been a good sprint result from Kuli but alas 10 riders were away at the front. We need luck to favour us a bit more going ahead. 20th is ok, but nothing special.
Congrats to roturn and thanks for the report!

Always love a puncheur grabbing victory here. Congrats roturn!
Aleotti has been extremely passive and badly positioned all season; guess he needs more training to be considered a rider that tries to perform.

Big win for Vansevenant. Congratulations, roturn!
Vacek in the break was fun while it lasted, but Higuita didn't seem to ever be in any sort of contention sadly.
Thanks for a great report

Congrats to a great Vansevenant win, roturn! Also great to see our two Avenir-alumni Bagioli and Romo finishing on a monument podium, they were great fun back then and still seem to be.

Tough to moan about a 4th-7th-16th finish in a monument, and so I won't too much. Pidcock probably should have been much closer to the win from that group, but still a great result and any disappointment at his failure to move up in the sprint (and our failure to use a teammate) is mitigated by Tesfaye Herin's amazing result and Vermeersch being one of the strongest in the pack behind - can quibble with how we played the ending but that is pretty much best case scenario team strategy to end up in that situation. Great scoring.
Love to see this development in the Vansevenant-Pidcock rivalry, would love to see Ulrich be correct and these two wins in their first two years at max be a sign of things to come for this race's winner's list. They compete across the calendar but this does seem like the best venue for them to duke it out. Despite the competition I always love seeing Mauro do well, such an entertaining rider and a deserved first - and surely not last - monument victory for him. Congrats roturn
Thanks for a great report Imladrik
