Great start from Durbo here but what Coppel did was straight up vile. How could he have done that badly? Its so disappointing as we have a really strong team here and I would have liked 2 riders in the top 10 here in the GC, and that's looking quite hard now.
We still have Enger to grab some stage results here as well and looking at the competition we have then he should be in the mix quite frankly. .

Thank you for doing this race, jph!
Vangstad must be our best bet for a decent GC placing, and a top 40 isn't the greatest start for him. Stage 3 should be the big key, but I also hope for some kind of selections on the flat stages, as that should favour Vangstad considering his general stats.
Also nice to see Kragh take that prologue win, finally! Congratulations, tastasol, always nice to see the other Norwegian PT team win |

Dennis being so good is slowly getting annoying.

Great start from Dennis, he's had the most solid season out of everyone in my team so far by a mile. Cool to see former rider Viviani in the top 10! Grieg in TTs this year has been inevitable, pretty impressive. Thanks jph!

Poor Chavanne. Finishes 2nd here which adds massively to his season's point scoring and his manager will probably have forgotten by tomorrow. Just for the protocol: very good result, im very happy about it.
I already dont remember where everyone else finished and i dont particularly care rn

Thanks! This surely means I just have to keep him, but I'll always expect a knock from you either way
As you say matt, the TTs has been very good for us so far! Hoping Kragh can hold on to the GC lead tomorrow and then it's Wurtz's turn to deliver. He did a good prologue, so hopefully he can take the good form with him to the TT. Beating Phinney will be very hard, but a podium is certainly within reach.
Thanks for the report, jph!

Groenewegen doesn`t win a lot really despite somre great consistency. So it`s one of his few wins outside PCT classics and GT stages.
Was very worried that he was too early similar as in the Ronde Van Nederland but the team played it perfectly with Bauhaus and Ballerini also in late top10 here.
Great screenshot of the team working when several riders struggled to hold on! So it apparently was a full day effort with a great finish by the leader.
A much needed win here and the first of two needed podiums to get some stage points as GC wise the team won`t do more than a top30-50 here with Frison, who didn`t have the best prologue here but hopefully on a better day on the more important long TT.
Thanks for the report! |

I always knew Van Poppel was faster than Coquard.

Perfect day for us. Looks like most of the guys was in a good position near the front towards the end and Kragh luckily holding on the GC lead.
Congrats on the win, roturn! Superbly timed finished by Groenewegen.

Seems like the rest of the team doesn't care about him either. |

All 8 Puma riders survived the day, and Ganna is still in white.
Now for the decisive stage, I hope we're all prepared to do well tomorrow and take good depth points from this.

Guess they were busy protecting all our legit GC contenders
Nice attempt by Liepins. Didnt look strong enough in the end but cool to see him try and be close to solid points.

Wow, dominant from Phinney! The gap was bigger than I thought it would be, but anyway very happy with the result from Würtz and should he hold on to that tomorrow, this will be a great race for us. Had hoped for a bit more from Stake Laengen and Norman Hansen, but most important to have Würtz in second place in GC of course!

Yeah the moment I decided to go for Kasperkiewicz over Dennis in transfers it was clear the latter one would have a great season. I'd be happy if Brändle would at least put up similar performances which he definitely should looking at his stats.
Not a good race from my team. The only one standing out with a decent result is Viviani. |

That wasn't great all-around, mainly from our young guys.
Sütterlin just about in the vicinity of his previous results, plus Politt somewhat decent, but then Ganna failed horribly to finish just inside the Top 100???
Bevin also with a massive joke of a ride in 61st if this was supposed to suit the stage racers.
Overall, nowhere close to being a good scoring race, with the best chance of salvation being somehow lucking into the KoM jersey tomorrow in a lottery.
9th in the teams classification says it all for a team who finished 3rd in the TTT just a few months ago.
