Swift with such leadout of two riders capable of winning themselves should be tough to beat.
Ewan though as home rider and about to pass Swift anyway this season or next, will be a top favorite as well.
Lots of others included in the mix, which should be a great challenge. |

Gonna be rooting for Xero for obvious reasons, and good luck to the conti teams here as well! I also have a soft spot for Podium Ambition and Minions because of the team concepts and jerseys. So, go Pocket Rocket, and hopefully Vesely can perform better than Vantomme and Drapac did last year. Excited to get back to reading all the reports

Will be interesting to see how Manninen does.
Historically his best results have come with minimum support, but it's nervy to wait and see if lacking a proper train will punish him or just help him get on the back of a good train in stead.

Not being here, we can only hope for the few CT teams present to steal as much points as possible

First major failure of the team and it seems that the PCM is not capable of handling 3 80 + Sp. Congratulations to the winners of the day, for us for sure better days will come
Thanks for the report

Massive season opener for Centovalli! Guarnieri still showing his class desipte his age. But this must be absolute heartbreak for Caleb Ewan and TMM, only getting 8th here is not good enough.

Pretty much sums it up. Lots of energy and power leading to a train wreck finish. Upsides, we still got 2 Top10's and 3 in the Top15 which is solid and shows potential if we can hook-up the leadout.

Wow, Lahcen sure was excited to show off that shiny new NC jersey it seems
Luckily Kris came in to save the day, or was is at all in the plan?
Anyhow 3rd and 11th is very good points scoring and is a great start of the season for us
Thanks for the preview and report Abhi

21th? How? This is even worse than our ICL start
Guarnieri never disappoints, congrats Bakkafrost!

Vesely!
That is already a better result than Vantomme or Drapac managed all season, so cannot be disappointed especially with Lindeman and Hodeg picking up extra points. Perhaps Vesely could have been better than sixth given his promising position behind Ewan, but given the field sixth is good!
Thanks for the report AbhishekLFC, congrats Bakkafrost!

Just wow... first of all, great report and the tension from my side at the end was huge! So close for Itami - another 20 metres, and I reckon this was his win.
Archibald in the break was a shock, but looks like Itami can do this without a lead out this season. Very happy with this start.
Thanks for the report abhi and well done sykkel

Perfect start! Guarnieri's consistency in this race is outrageous! He did well to find Ewan's wheel, but got very worried when Podium's train obliterated. Luckily he could get on Manninens wheel without taking too much wind. Launched his sprint a tad early perhaps, but luckily we had the margins on our side.
That's our win goal for the season sorted as well then. Great stuff!
Thanks for the congratulations guys and thanks to Abhi for the report!

The question will be whether Ewan losing Nelson's wheel there was a fluke. That left him in the wind very early and presumably cost him a lot. I assume that if he had been able to stay with Nelson's big burst (looking at his gap to the rest of the group at that point), he would have taken it even if he had slowed down towards the end. Time will tell, I guess. Congrats to Sykkel, and to Fabianski as well for that 4th place

No show from our boys, but not too surprised. Better days ahead. Tough break for Ewan in this one, hopefully (for TMM's sake) they figure out their sprint train. Congrats to Sykkel on the win.

Quite happy and surprised. Guardini with a good result, could maybe have gotten even better. 2 extra riders in top 15. And the biggest shock of them all, we made a train!
Congrats to Sykkel
