Should be an easy win, and kinda glad we don't have the leader's jersey to defend

Congrats Maxime! Petit timed that perfectly.
No lost time from the mountain doodz, hopefully they’re geared up and ready for tomorrow.
Thanks for the report!

Shame that Lavoine couldn't pick his way through the pack on this one, but congrats maxime!
Otherwise, Bennett has been an utter non-factor this season, cheers for raising expectations slightly with the 'best sprint squad in the race' hype Tamijo
Cheers for the report, and looking forward to Valls just about hanging on in the mountains throughout this one. He's going to surprise some folks

Lavoine was in the most perfect position for so long clued to Adrien Petit, but he opened a small gap for Cameron Meyer and that was costly

Bennett had a day of, can’t remember even noticing him.

No worries, it seems to be a consistent position for him this season

Checked the report out of interest and realised we are riding this one
Stage 1 confirmed my low expectations!

What is Bouhanni doing? He should be fighting for the stage win not finishing down in 41st...

Another weird, chaotic sprint this year. Seems like there's been very few traditional ones recently. Appo boxed in an with no chance. Ooof. Hopefully he's still around for stage 4.

Not great from Tosh but at least he didn't draw a blank. I hope he can stick around to Stage 4, that's why he's here. He should be one of the more likely but knowing this race I could see no sprinters making it

By the way, the Youth Classification rankings look to be incorrect as they don't go according with the GC. Aranburu is a place ahead of him in the GC and somehow behind him in the Youth.

Powless has to be getting tired, he just spent a week of attacking down in Mexico, now in Colombia he continues his rampage, and gets us started with some U25 points, while our veteran sprinter picks up a handful more.

11th for Krieger is about par for the course. He needed to over-perform but couldn't. So no big deal.
Now for the mountains!!
Thanks for the report Tamijo. Congrats maxime

Yes I used the Youth stage result in stead of the Youth GC.
Sorry for that, it is fixed now.

We need to be joining breaks, PCM! Cherkasov better be in it tomorrow.
Nice win for Petit, congrats Maxime! Though I'm disappointed it wasn't Ula.
Thanks for the report Tamijo, very nice read!

As expected. Easy win, good performance by Dzhus in particular here. Scarponi maybe a slightly worse day, but no problem at all when your leader is so much stronger than the opposition.

That was a very decent stage, it has to be said. Kudus in 7th losing almost 4 minutes to Pluchkin isn't ideal, because it's a 1'30 gap to the podium, but big gaps behind Kudus almost ensures that he'll finish in the Top10.
The more positive thing is the team depth. Serrano 19th, Ndayisenga 26th and Novak 28th all with the same time gives us hopes of great scoring depth in GC if it stands. And it would be nice if Pirazzi fights for KoM, given he's gotten 10 points without any effort yet.
Easy win for Pluchkin it looks
