really dissapointed to see Giaux go into the break dispite me feeling like he'd be a really solid helper for petit in the finale and also dissapointed to see petit drop off towards the end like he did.
Gaudin, our best cobbler, barely finishing inside the top 40 shows that we're really screwed on not flat stages lmao
Congrats to Podium Ambition btw! |

C’mon Jerome, make papa Booker proud!
Not another phenomenal roleur performance leading Vanbilsen and Vanmarcke out, please.
Have to think this is Blythe’s to lose, and good lord, Iberia’s flat lineup is scary.
Well, he led one of them out. Clearly a stellar performance by Jerome, he's just been quite unlucky with the final result! We certainly have a star on our hands, we just need to get him in the right situation. 5 attacks
Also Langeveld with solid depth scoring, over 25pprd is fine by me here.
Thanks for the enjoyable report tsmoha, and congrats to TMM.

5th is actually decent. Good start from David on our team. Nepo unfortunately not as strong as last year, but doing strong in the sprint of the big group behind.
Congrats TMM and thanks for another great report tsmoha! |

Congrats to Podium Ambition and thanks tsmoha for the report.
Zepuntke again finishing quite low, hope he doesn't make a habit of this.

Fenn was brought for us to nick a few points here and there in a competitive division, shame he couldn't hold on for something better but we'll take a 16th place finish!

This is bad. Somehow the rider with the best stamina completely collapsed. A 12th for the race that best suits Vanbilsen is problematic. This was the first season were I considered myself save before the season started, but our latest performances are just so disappointing I'm looking at the CT wage cap already.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wow, now I look a bit of an idiot after what I just wrote in the OHN thread re: WCC's cobbled prospects! Bush in 2nd is a brilliant result for both him and WCC . An obvious great form day when he managed to cross that gap late on to the main lead group, and even after that still have enough left in the tank to follow the later attacks and do a decent sprint!
Congrats to TMM - almost like we were back in the CT cobbled days of 2016! And as always, thanks to our reporter for a detailed break-down of the key moments.
Have to hope Bush's +ve daily form today was in part a balance of Bolivar's -ve form who has been disappointing in his 2 cobbled outings to date; barely inside the top 50 here, and well outside in OHN for a 77 cobbled dude is below par. Looking for just a little more in future whether that be more obviously helping out his leader, or showing in the minor points placings. Nevertheless, Bush's great day gives a further strong ppRD return here at G-W to add to recent performance at ToME to get February off to a flying start for WCC!

Yeah, it's gonna be a long, long year for us. Atrocious. Doesn't make any sense. Looks like our transfer season was a complete flop if VSB can't even stay with the front group on a day like today with top helpers with him. Trash.
Good report at least.

I didn't expect much, yet I'm slightly disappointed
I guess it's largely down to the race becoming much more selective than I thought beforehand, and I had hoped for more from Breen in such a scenario. Seems like his positioning wasn't the best when the split happened with 40 km to go.
Nice to see De Bondt in the breakaway again, however.

Debesay... oh my god, that's what I call an epic comeback! What a sexy sexy man, absolutely beasted everything after he got dropped and made it to a stunning seventh. Rowe dropped early was sad to see, but good he rallied well to pick up some minor points too. Given I was expecting both to be around where Rowe came, this is an awesome result!
And round 1 of overpriced unmaxed cobbler-puncheurs goes to Debesay! Quite convincingly, we had two riders beating Gaday Cool to see Jams in his first break of the year with Ngamoki trying as well, and most of all another stunner of a report tsmoha, and a great race! Grats to Thomas, but a real shame Baugnies couldn't get it after his aggressive racing

According to the intern the Nordstrom HQ is currently in disstress as it looks like they have assembled the worst PCT team in MG history. Manager has apparently gone AWOL and the intern has put Highway to Hell on repeat for the past week.
Gratz to TMM nice ride from G. Also good report and decent AI, everything seems good.

Great stuff by Vanmarcke! Another podium to add to the late success of the team, which only sees us increasing our lead in the PCT Rankings
So except for PTHC race, we have had a rider in the Top4 of every race so far in the season
A shame that Fabien couldn't get minor points despite being in the main group when only 10 riders were left on it, but his main job was to protect Vanmarcke, and he did it perfectly.
Congrats to TMM for the win, though Baugnies is the moral winner, after being so aggresive

Didn't realise Rowe's comeback was equally big as Debesay's - from outside the front group of 50+, to multiple groups behind a lead group of 23, to 21st in the end!

I was more referencing Thomas and Bush's CT battles in 2016, but hey ho .

Congrats TMM! Lovely win for Thomas.
Great ride from Maes as well, these flat cobbles races in PCT might be great for him after all. Only downfall is his sprinting ability, or lack thereof - still a good result nonetheless. Thanks for the report!

Kuroeda did decently I guess. Nice of Arashiro to be in the break. Cant expect much more in cobbled races.

Slightly underwhelming performance by Theuns there, seeing some weaker riders follow the more important attacks is certainly disappointing but I hope I can mostly attribute this to some unlucky daily form. Still, a top 10 is not something I'm going to complain too much about, but hopefully I'm just going to look back at this as one of the worse results of Theuns' season.
Thanks for the report tsmoha and congrats to TMM, Scorchio and the others who did better than expected here, some brilliant results from the outsiders here.
