Remember when I used to actually look forward to this race? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Does the PCM version include the long tunnel section then island of the Oresund Crossing, or is it 'just' depicted as a very long bridge?
Not this version of the race, but I have actually tried to make one with a long tunnel first and then the bridge, but cant make it work, as PCM do not let you build an mid-sea island. Normaly you can "hide" a land connection, but very hard with this one you will spot it from the bridge.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who's scared of this race |

Not really expecting much from this, although the difference between 8th and 15th is always small enough here to make that region of the result rather random. We could use some luck on our side in that regard.
Will be interesting to see how our new additions Cavagna, Hadi and Weinstein fit into our setup.

Interesting race. Normally we are only subtop when it comes to raw TT power, but that bridge really favours our setup with multiple guys that are able to climb well. Also had 2 racedays left for Madrazo and figured he might actually make quite a strong contribution here.
If the team has a good day we might score well.

Go Evonik!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Missing out on our 4th TTT title by 2 seconds kinda hurts
The usual business from our team though: a slow first sector (unsurprisingly) and finishing it off strong with the fastest final sector. A pity it's just such a narrow loss, but I guess I should be happy with a podium result then. Obviously had hoped for a big result though (and BIG can only be the victory!) and given Howard's bad Qatar performance, we already had some pressure to deliver BIG results in February. Well, well, well.. 3rd ain't bad. I'll take it (I guess I have to, anyway)
Congrats to Gazelle on a nice victory and UBS on a 2nd place, that is as unlucky (but on the other hand also lucky) as our loss against Gazelle
And thanks for the report! Nice overview with the sector times there.

Fantastic report! Can we also get a report of the year award and not only reporter of the year?
12th isn't bad at all. We started very strong and I thought we might be in for a major surprise, but 12th is a very good result.

That was exciting, I don't think I would have predicted Gazelle to win but congratulations to Dekker, he must be pleasantly surprised. I'm absolutely thrilled with 2nd place here as well, especially considering how close it got towards the end. It looks like Dillier was able to hold on with the hill. Very glad I sent Trofimov as well.
Looking forward to seeing what we can do in TTTs with Amador in the lineup later in the season.

I have not had any luck with the pcm this season, Chiarello my third best rider in this race has achieved the feat of being the worst of the team which by itself already harms us a lot.
The eleventh place is bad and if we continue the path of bad results then we are really condemned to demotion, something that was already predictable at the beginning of the season and that is being confirmed with each passing race.
Congratulations DD and thanks for another report

That was close! Slightly surprised to see Gazelle run away with the win, but kudos to DD for bringing Madrazo, and cool to see him rewarded.
And also a very detailed TTT report, thank you for that, Tamijo
Seeing we got mentioned by the AI as the favourite for the 10th place, I guess I should be disappointed, but I must admit I'm not, as it will take time to get used to actually expect something from a TTT, looking at the team's history |

5th!!! not a bad result at all, all things considered! shame this doesn't score points for us but oh well. Very tight at the top, which pushed us down a little and it was an enjoyable report to read - loved the individual sectors breakdown as well!
Congrats to Gazelle for the win, seemed like a minor shock to me, looked like the climb helped them a lot.

Amazing report Tamijo!
Great win for Gazelle after being so close to the win last season. Bringing Madrazo could have been the key for the win, but it was really a close battle. A shame for Bennelong to miss on the fourth win title by just 2 seconds and only be third

Top 15 was our goal, so a 16th place in the end is pretty okay. Hopefully that is our worst result in this race for the next couple of years

Well you surely won't see me complain about 9th!
As I mentioned, the race for the lower Top 10 will be quite a lottery, and we drew a good ticket. Everyone ahead of us is not predicted to finish at the top at the end of the season, another good bonus.
I can't wait for half of our squad to improve further by next season, and only max out the year after.
Congrats up front to Gazelle, quite a nail-biter there! Also a huge thank you to Tamijo for the impressively detailed report.

While I was pretty much correct on my first pick Gazelle, I failed with RBC and Berg a lot.
My own team a bit below expectations but in the right area as I simply couldn`t list 8 TT riders here.
So not a lot points here but was one of the low scoring races anyway. |
