Not good, not a bad TT result either. We probably underperformed though even then, which pretty much sums up our entire fucking season. The bad thing is that CycleYorkshire overperformed really, so it will be hard to gain that much time on their riders with just the short TTT, while unfortunately for tastasol Grieg was even worse than us apparently.
Cornu with a deserved win, congrats LLS and thanks for the awesome reports lately to my man Tamijo.

Well I'm glad to see that Cornu pulled through and took the win there. He probably needed more time as it will be basically impossible to hold on in the TTT. Hopefully my team can control the upcoming stages well and deliver Bouhanni to some good results.

I'm very happy with that, 3x top 10 in this field is very good for us in this field and sets us up for a decent race. But of course it is not over as crashes and crosswinds are probably going to give us a headache throughout the race.
Lets hope that breakaways are kept to a minimum and we manage to capitalise on our position in the TTT as well.

Wow, awesome stage for cycleYorkshire! If they can back that up in the TTT it will be huge. Grabovski 5th is also big for Philips - gratz guys!
Reckweg getting a mention was way above our aspirations for that stage, nice.
Thanks for the super well-written report Tamijo!

Well, that was kind of rubbish. Wisniowski the best finisher, despite being the worst TTer in the team. Oh well. Breaks and try to salvage a couple of decent placings in the TTT.

Lol, of fucking course Ghyselinck had to crash out and Ovechkin had to lose 3 minutes
PCM is so awful to us, I wonder what the fuck I've done that is costing me all this bad karma

A good win by Mohs, nice to see him back to winning days. Congrats danny!
Some carnage here already. Seemee like we had survived it and Dempster even got up quickly it seemed, but just not enough it seems. Hopefully no injury as he is one of our strongest riders for the TTT obviously. Good to see Wisniowski on the alert in a good position towards the end at least. Given his good abilites on the flats, he could surely benefit from some crosswinds the coming days.

Pelucchi without support, that shouldn't happen. We're crap, but we're not that crap.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Havn't used that gif in a while but it really sums up our last few races... We are really just kinda sucking right now... Ricki way down in 34th... This race is going to be awful and we're going to be tumbling down the rankings before too long...

I ask for no crosswinds, so therefore I get them
Still, 2 are in the top 10, and hopefully all 3 of Stannard, Tennant and Dennis can stay clear of trouble and we'd be still up for a decent GC placement. All hope is not lost just yet

Goss sucked pretty badly here.
Ford though no real surprise. Also Robert yet again failing after a strong TT. But there's still a few guys left for his team. Go, Rohan!

5th a bit lower than hoped for, but at least he took the right wheel.
Classic for this season that the team work hard for a sprint to the benefit of others and at the cost of our own team as my best and 3rd in the GC got dropped after having done a lot of early work.

I'm going to ignore stage one.
Stage two was much better, I was hoping De Haes could hold on but it was very difficult, but he deserves every bit of glory on this stage. Manarelli takes away one point in the sprint which means we won't end pointless
Thanks for the detailed reporting Tamijo

After a bunch of bad sprints, that was very very nice to see and our train reminded me of our trains last season, even with the minor hiccup when Franczak pulled off but fortunately it turned out okay.
Thank you very much for the report Tamijo, it was a great read! And congrats on the win danny, really nice to finally see Mohs succeeding.

The crosswinds managed to cause absolute Havoc there. The only real chance Cornu has of a GC win is of there are enough splits that his main GC rivals all lose large chunks of time leading up to the TTT. Of course a bit disappointed that Bouhanni wasn't in the group to sprint but at least Lobato made the Top 10.

A nice throwback to many seasons ago, seeing Stannard amd Tennant as teammates, going well in a race like this - particularly early in the TT when they topped the tables. Could be some good ranking points if they can survive the flats.
Not great to see Paillot or Viennet doing so bad, nor Ghyselinck crashing out.

PCM is perfectly on pace to get all my riders to either lose tons of minutes or crash out. Last stage it was Ghyselinck and Ovechkin, it's Sterbini and Sakellaridis this time around, so with 2 more absolutely inoffensive flat stages I think the AI will manage to get my other 4 riders Boaro, Viviani, Rolland and Beukeboom out of the GC fight too.
