Wow, 76th as best result. Gonna have to demand my team to step it up or I'm gonna make some changes to our cobbler squad next season. |

A cool stage, I must say. It was good to see the break being caught quite early. And Harrison really smashed it here! Must admit that I was surprised to see Bush being dropped at one point, but surely Harrison was his team's big man today. Nice win there.
Also good to see our former rider Verbist in the front group. His low sprint stat won't allow him any special result, I fear though.

The former queen stage of the race, and good to see that it has formed some gaps - and the strong history of British performances here continues with a great win for Harrison.

Well that was shit. 10th is pretty bad, and we didnt even make a single move all stage.

Nice to see Flaksis attempting to recreate his winning move from two season ago. That sort of long-term story-telling is great
Too bad he suffered and lost contact to the group due to his efforts though
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Yeah that sucks.. Completely shocked at that move, it was doomed from the begining i don't understand...
Kireva saved at least finishing in the front group, but he clearly was suffering a lot as he didn't even manage a top 10 with his sprinting skills
Anyway congratz WCC, hard to see them being beaten at this point.

Thanks for congrats on the stage result guys, still two days to go until the big prizes are handed out though!
The report indicates quite a dominant performance from Harrison, and this is his 2nd victory of the season after taking out K-B-K. Able support from the likes of youngsters Sanogo and Venturini also being name checked is awesome. Need to stay on our toes in stage 2 as assume the rest of the race is going to place controlling the break firmly on our shoulders, which hopefully we have the resources to cope with.
I had forgotten that this was a race where bonus seconds go all the way down to 10th. A bit mean giving we won the stage, but still would have wished to see Bush get some bonuses, as they will likely prove crucial. Now have to focus on Harrison having another awesome day in stage 3 as a good number of Bush's contemporaries have stolen a march on him in terms of bonus seconds. Phillips as the only team with 3 cards to play in the front group also have to be watched closely to ensure WCC don't get caught napping out on the road.

Come guys, it's not that hard, get into the breakaways! Also, don't like that Marcato finished around 80th place, as that will kill his sum of places in case of a time tie fighting for minor points, something that is very likely

It would have been interesting to see Thorsen win. No excuses for the peloton, they really should have chased that down.

Thorsen actually would've won, he beat the whole bunch on the most perfect stage for him... break should've sat up to let him have the win.

Congratulations to Miguel, nice to work together in that one
Very happy to see some success from our Japanese talent, even though we did not win surely Mr. Katsuta will pop a bottle of champagne tonight, had zero hope in that stage.
Thanks for a great report roturn: thriller - almost made me choke on my morning coffee.

Wow, this race is gonna end up super disappointing for us.
Thorsen is doing exceptionally well though this season. Good for him! |

I take that 23rd place and run away before someone can take away from me I know there are only 4 points, but still...
But the stage was awful, seriously. How can this stage see a 40-rider group arriving together...

At least Verbist with a gutsy ride to a good result.
Thanks for the reports. As always, a pleasure to read

Good reports but the race was absolutely awful for us.. and today was a disapointment in terms of fireworks, guess the bonifications were the most important thing.
Anyway congratz on the win Kentaurus and Scorchio!

Richardson with a huge win for us! Who needs Summerhill anyway ... ... okay I still miss him. Too bad even with the few minutes gained he is still well back in the GC, but none the less a good ride for our youngster who is still learning to ride on the cobbles.
Thanks for the great reporting good job keeping tabs on both break and peloton so we always understood the situation... had me on the edge of my seat when the gap was down to 50 and pulled back. Huge sigh of relief when they slowed due to some punctures.

Thrilled with 2nd overall for Havik! On WCC's turf, it was vital we stuck with them in the GC race. Phenomenal stuff from Havik on what was always going to be a tricky C2HC race
