You all make it sound like it`s only negative to see PT teams having chances in PCT races.
In other races you complain that PT teams don`t have chances.
In the end it`s about luck to hit the good HC bands, which is also a bit of management part as well where to expect weaker PCT fields. Then it`s also about team depth if you have more than 1-2 decent HC eligible riders such as Aker in this race impressively shows.
Of course the PT HC stats need to be considered new every season as
a) more experience
b) different stat range of riders in each division
c) different bands
It's a lot easier to be lucky when there is 11 PCT teams rather than 21 though...

Wow this actually looks like a good chance to get points without Summerhill. Think for the first time all season one of my riders (not named Summerhill) was mentioned as a contender, so pretty excited to see this one get going. Any points away from the cobbles is a huge victory for me so hoping for Beltran to really step up.

Nah you had decent chances in Czechia with both Chaves and Beltran, but iirc they sucked

Obviously I had preferred getting the very same result by another reporter.
But in the end I never was expecting this and had hopes for top3-5 only. So was nice to see it live with all later riders not able to beat Frison`s time.
First real season win for Frison I think as the only other I think was the U23 Worlds. Now as maxxed rider he still has main value in TTTs but I very much like seeing him taking a prologue win. |

Thank you for the report and congratulations on the win, roturn.
Also a very strong start by Laengen, which makes me happy. But hopefully it won't make Dyrnes and Hoelgaard less aggressive on the hilly stuff, as I suspect our best shot at fighting for a decent GC here is to let them try to gain time on the hilly stages and then do damage limitation at the only mountain stage and time trial. |

Grats Roturn, don't worry if something like that happens. Moscon with a surprising result, but yeah, the real question will be how Peeters can handle the hills on the "flat" stages.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Not too much time lost, that's all that could be expected of this. Now let's get some actual action!

Wow, my guys keep on failing big time.
No points, but at least a podium among PCT-teams.

That was ligharts chance of doing something this race, dissapointing. The secondary PCT-riders will be alot less valuable than I thought, as the PT riders will dominate the top 10 here. Congratz and no worries roturn

Just here to steal some points, that's all.
Expected better from Verona in the prologue. Need my Russian punchuer to step up and prove it was worth training him last offseason.

Three riders top 11, so a good start that. Would have liked to have one of them even further up, but a solid team effort. Thanks for the report, roturn, and congrats

thank goodness the race was that short or things could have got ugly. Azteca already solidly positioned at the back.

12 minutes! 73HI but ending in the same group as 69HI Avetisyan. We better join every single break and win 3 stages to make up for this bullsh*t

What a bad AI for my team there...why would all my potential GC riders wait for fricking Frison? |

Very solid team performance there, having all my four potential GC riders in the front group, and claiming the lead in the teams classification. Hopefully we can hold on to that to the very end.
Definitely a pleasant surprise to see Nesset manage to stay with the front group and even ride aggressive. Though, I fear his good riding means Dyrnes and Hoelgaard will ride passively on the hilly stages, which could see us miss good stage results and GC placings for those two, but we shall see.
Congratulations to CountArach on the win. This looks more and more to be a race somewhat dominated by Pro Tour teams, having two out of two wins so far. At least stage 3 should see PCT sprinters shine. |

Nice start to the race with a podium in stage 1 by Gretsch and a decent stage 2 performance by Monfort.

Good te see PCM prioritsies Nepom over Prevar. Less good to see Prevar lose time on a stage he potentially should be able to win.
