Thank you for the effort making the report, trekbmc.

I'm sorry for being negative, but EBH's misery in the classics is simply painful to watch, this one being just another one. I just don't get how the best puncheur in the game can consistently underperform like this for two full seasons and 2016 so far in the one day races. Not sure if I'm looking forward to what's to come in Belgium Pfft

Disappointing race in general as well, with very little action between the favourites. I'm sure Kenya won't mind though, neither Gazelle. Congratulations on the win, FroomeDog, and on an amazing team performance/some luck with the positioning for the final Cauberg climb, DubbelDekker! Smile

Ehhm, okay, we came for top50 and we got it, 77 hill Bratashcuk got 41st. That would be just normally bad, but not if Konrad with 75hill and under 70s fighter/acc/sprint finishes 5th, wtf? Meanwhile biggest fighter in the game, Ignatiev, rolls in around 90th spot...

Thanks for the report trek and congrats FroomeDog!
I'll be back

Booooring - And not good enough. 7th isn't satisfying from these races, especially not when riders like Konrad and Sagan ends up in 5th and 6th. Koretzky should have done better in a sprint like this, but ends up way down.

Thanks for the report though.

Ponzi's back motherfuckers! Brace yourselves, a second Ardennes triple is coming up. Also woah Gazelle, now that's some points out of this!

Congrats Froomey, it's nice to see there's still some hope. Great report trek!

Lame...

8th ain't bad, but Konrad beating Bobridge makes it a slightly disappointing "effort". At least Dyball was one of the few attacking riders here Smile

TThanks for tthe rreport anyway!

I expect Hagen to win Amstel, Ponzi Fleche and Bakelants Liege. As seen in Badaling - Trofimov finished 14th - the hilly classics are a real gamble and the top15 riders all could podium, so for Trofimov who is doing great in Stage Races but no so much in one-day races I'm hoping for Amstel Top10, Fleche Top5 and Liege Top3 (=sponsorgoal)

Thanks for the preview trekbmc!

I doubt so to be honest.

Imo Badaling is not the race to compare as it`s more or less a after descent finish, where positioning is important. In uphill finishes it should be less of a gamble and best should all be up there.

Sure, daily form might decide if this or that 81+ puncheur has the advantage on his side and also how the game play considers attacks etc.

But it should be EBH, Bakelants, Ponzi, Van Garderen, Ginanni all high up there close to podium/top5.

Smile a real gamble Smile

Thanks for the report trekbmc, strange ride from Trofimov; in front in every screen except the one that matters the most!

So no magic for Sagan, but for Gazelle! Still quite happy with Sagan's result, looks like it was quite a decent decision to train him into mini-Ponzi. Smile

Decent from Juul-Jensen and Levarlet. Nothing møre, nothing less.

Huge win for Kenya. Just have to hope Ponzi can keep it up now after their bad start.

I lackluster 14th place from TVG. I expected better. Sad

Apart from Gazelle flukes, he is only 80 or under guy in top15, that is some magic i would say. Wink

Well, considering how useless Schreurs is, he delivered an OK-ish performance in this race.

Can't be bothered to comment further on yet another Ponzi win, though Wink

Holy shit, sick performance by both the support team and Ginanni! To control the race and still have the legs to pull this off in the sprint is impressive. Very happy to do so well in our home race.

Yes I'm aware we basically got lucky with a game engine fluke, but I try to read reports like they are a real cycling race. Wink

Congrats to FD! Hilly Bewley strikes again. And thanks for the report trek! The race was a bit uneventful, but you made the most out of it.

Okay race from Pichon exactly where he should be but great race by Ponzi and Gazelle brilliant efforts from both teams even if the race was weird

FroomeDog99
Brilliant from Ponzi! Just what he was bought to do. Glad to get our first PT race win under our belt.

Now to Liege and Fleche, hopefully he can deliver again and give us more much needed points.

Thanks for the report Trek.

Skujins looked super strong with great positioning for the sprint and for a moment i thought he could even win this. Still, 4th is a great result and a great start to the Ardennes triple.

I think it is quite ironic to discuss how random the Ardennes are when Ponzi just won his 4th straight Ardennes classic and the first 4 places went to 4 of the top 7 puncheurs. Pfft
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
