Exciting to see the CT season starting, even though I'm not here, figured that many would like to get some points on the board and JTL is not a top class puncheur so I gave this a miss.
Good luck guys!

This race normally favors pure punchers - Mendes dominated last year, and really he didn't quite live up to that the rest of the season - so wouldn't be surprised if dowsett/klemme take this one - expecting the brit myself - and then Barbin ends up scoring more at the end of the season.

Top 5 goal should be well achievable. But we should aim even higher!
Will be interesting to see how the team plays it.

I honestly fancy our chances- Poorseydi should provide an excellent lieutenant service for Gaimon, we've got Joost to sit on the front at the beginning of the race and set the tempo, Ekhmeister and Jonesy to set more tempo in the moderately high hills of Cuba, Mr Jim as our resident mountain goat, and Torck to strike if all else fails, which, let's face it, it probably will, especially considering the fact that I'm giving overly laddish nicknames not just to professional sportsmen that I don't know but to virtual professional sportsmen that I don't know.
Sad.

Seeing CT teams with a leader with higher Hill Stat then my hill leader doesn't make me happy
Will be a nice battle against Klemme and Dowsett mostly I guess. |

Great to see the season getting ready to kick-off - many thanks to all those contributing to getting us to this point.
As will be the approach of WCC given our development focus, we have 5 inexperinced un-maxed riders in our line-up. That leaves limited options for reliable point-scoring. However we do have our hilly leader Rodriguez Galindo to provide a point-scoring option, and Backaert to provide (limited support). Our final card is Goodnews - he has a long season packed with races ahead where we are putting faith in his ability to regularly make the BoTD - would be nice to see this strategy in action on day 1.
Predicting Nutresa old-boy Klemme for victory. Pretty crazy to see him and Dowsett in CT given both were making regular podium appearances at HC and C1 races last season.

Delage for a midstage attack win, please.
The first iteration of Klemme vs. Dowsett will hopefully be worth watching.

Very happy to see the season starting and thanks to the organisers for their hard work to get us here.
I will be interested to see if the pure hill guys Klemme and Dowsett can drop the faster finishers over this course. I am hopeful Klemme's better Mountains stat can just tip things his way.
Kraftwerk have sent 4 development riders so if we are left to chase the break it could get interesting.
I better hurry up and get my January preview published

We're mainly here because we had a spare couple of race days and waiting until February for my first race last year wasn't great.
Saying that I've still sent my full hilly squad here and 3 level 1 riders.
Hopefully as the season progresses we can find some days for Othman to lead us where neither Klemme or Dowsett are present.

This will be a big test to see if Klemme is going to completely dominate the division or not.

So, everyone thought I was mad when I predicted MOL to win the division... this is a good start for me
Thanks for a great report Rider. Good race, with all of the big favourites getting involved some way or another. Congrats to jaxika! |

Kasperkiewicz, my only rider, got in the break so I'm pleased with this race.
Quite surprising Hategeka managed to hold everyone off for a kilometre, congrats jaxika.
And thanks for a great report The Rider, can't believe the season has started.

So damned close But great ride from Diggle Shows some promise, if only we had a few more metres ...
Cheers The Rider, great report and great way to kick off Xero's MG career! Also, 7 riders in the top 45, was going to get excited but ofc Ferrero had 8

Thanks for the opening report TR and congrats Jaxika on the first victory of the season
Kinney very disappointed, Lejman also but that was to be expected. Milan salvaged something at least, but 20th place is not enough to impress

A mild upset there - surely MO must have played a small part. Great win for Jaxica returning to the MG.
