On the road again !
Our Collaborative Tour De France is back in the Pyrénées for this last week of race.
The layout of this week #3
First of all, the shape of this last week will be as previous discussions had stood out :
- Stage 16 : ITT
- Stage 17 : flat
- Stage 18 : mountain with few cols and a finish climb
- Stage 19 : mountain, the "queen-stage"
- Stage 20 : mountain, the "trapped-stage"
- Stage 21 : flat with finish line in Champs Élysées circuit.
Method and organization
For this determining week, we have decided to change the rules and the methods. We will start the discussions with the 19th stage, the "queen-stage"
Actually, we want it to be the cornerstone of this week, hence both other mountain stages will be dependant on it. This method can be applied thanks to the possible transfers between weeks 2 and 3, and before the last stage towards Paris.
Thus, we reserve the right to change the start of the stages (of this last week) in order to keep coherence and flexibility in the succession of stages. For example, that right could be used to move closer to the previous finish line or to control the global distance of this TDF. This method will allow us to build the best variant and the best route.
Furthermore, the average distance of the three mountain stage should be roughly 160km in order to have a global TDF distance realistic.
Please, keep all these points in mind in your propositions by studying the possibility to connect it with the stage after and the stage before.
Rules for the 19th stage
- Distance : between 150 and 200 km
- D+ : 6000m maximum
- Number of cols of category 2 and bigger : 5 maximum
- Finish line in climb or on flat (as you wish)
- Direction : from East to Ouest. Don't forget it will have a mountain stage in the Pyrénées before and after this "queen stage"
- Every proposed profile must be commented and argued. We won't bother to have consideration for any profile not commented or argued. Profiles are just a way to create debate.
- A road map link must be attached.
Your turn and make this queen-stage the best as possible !

Collaborative Tour de France keeps on
The steps 18 and 19 have been decided.
We continue discussions with stages 16 and 17.

What we know, what are the stages cities. Montpellier, Carcassonne and Mirepoix. It remains to choose the roads.
Carcassonne is a beautiful stage city
Stage 16 : Arrival at the old city of Carcassonne
Stage 17 : Start in the old city of Carcassonne

Thank you all.
The missing stages of this Tour are realized slowly. But they will happen!
When the Tour is completely finished, I will post all the stages in the PCM 2014, PCM 2015 and PCM 2016 version.
