Great to see the final confirmation that we won the rankings. I didn't expect to win the rankings at the beginning of the season (I thought somewhere around top-5), and to come out on top in the end is absolutely brilliant. We've had some very entertaining battles until the end, thanks for that, mainly to Shonak and Bjartne for being the very closest until the end. Congrats to them for promoting, along with the others who managed to make it.
After a decent start we really had some great results during the period I was away, by winning Frankfurt and Zimnyanya, and some more things after that. However, my personal highlight of the season is Ruta America del Sur. Rabon finally took a really big win, after about 20000 top-5s throughout this season. It's great to see that consistency being paid off in a rankings third. It could have been even higher had he not had his two disappointing races in Greece and Züri. Top-5ing those would have gotten him 2nd, and with a win he would have won the rankings.
Serebriakov really surprised me this season. After last year's farce he could hardly perform worse. What I did not expect though was a rankings top 5. However, despite having two riders in the top-5, they only accounted for 55 % of all our points, which shows our great depth. Pozdnyakov in the top-20 is a great example of course. And all of that despite

Of course he's been our main disappointment of the season. Had he lived up to his stats we would have been even further ahead, but oh well, we're on top now, so I don't care anymore. At least he'll be cheap in renewals.
All in all it was a great and quick season that I've enjoyed much, thanks for everything, and thanks to everyone for the kind words.

Great season for us this year with an 8th place, I really didn't think Id be able to finish this far up the table.
Our overpaying for Novak seems to have semi-payed off, hopefully we might be able to use some training or something next year for him.
Gaimon had another solid season, but i dont think we'll be able to use him at the PCT level in all honesty. Hopefully we'll be able to sell him or something to CT team next year.
Back on the topic of our off season additions, Blaise Sonnery had the exact problems that i thought he would, even with his high sprint stats, his very high mountain stats and hill stats really caused him to be looked at as a mountain helper instead of a sprinter.
In all honesty, Im really gonna miss the CT, in a way, I wish that we wouldnt be promoting, but really, a new division means new challenges, I wouldnt be surprised that we'd get relegated after next year in all honesty |

I think Novatek really pulled a surprise victory here. Never expected them to top the rankings. While it was pretty obvious that Rabon would do great, I would never have predicted to see Serebriakov score such a shitload of points. Congrats !
My favourite team Strava went for a strong 2nd place finish. If only my alumni Dupont would have convinced a bit more the title would have been possible. He must have been the only rider not overperforming in the team though. Well Favili as well but incredible how many points the likes of Belmohktar, Einsle, Pfingsten, Tulik and Van Wyk collected. The team reminds me a lot to Gazelle in their approach and i would not be surprised if we would see some transfers between the two teams in the offseason.
Fablok in third is the biggest surprise to me. Lavoine overperformed even more than LLS (arguably) and the rest of the team must have joined every single successful break of the season. Ridiculous
Overall very active and like-ableteams in the top ten with also DeLaval, Generali and Netia in the promoting spots. I already said it in SanCor's HQ that it is great to see my prediction turned out wrong and that Ian's estimation was correct.
I somehow like that bbl's season was saved by De Maar and I hope that some of the teams at the dirt don't make his mistake of renewing every shit rider
Hilarious to see Severstal's Bole outscored by a loanee and two mediocre time triallists of his own team. Somehow I feel the need to check if his season was horribly planned or if he just pulled a Roy all year.
At the bottom teams : Don't give up yet. Just take a look how Atlantius transformed his team from one of the weakest teams to a top CT team last offseason. It will be interesting who of you can improve the most!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

You didn't finish in an automatic promotion position, so if you don't want to promote then you don't have to. (Although I would strongly recommend it!). Let me know.

Extremely happy with promoting back to PCT. This is the first ever time we're promoting in automatic promotion place. Heck, it's actually the first time we don't end on the bottom end of the table
We had a top-5 CT-ranking goal and we achieved it, so of course very happy with that, but nonetheless a small fly in the ointment to be so close to the title. But in the end, we have no problem losing out to Novatek, Strava and Fablok as all of them represent great managers and 3 solid teams. I hope to bounce back against you in the PCT, will be some great racing!
Additionaly I want to also congrats fellow asian mates in Indosat with a strong debut top-5 and automatic promotion. It will be some fun battles in the transfer window
And to everybody that's working behind the scenes, and to all reporters; What a fantastic job you've done. This has been my best season in the man-game so far, not only because of sucess with my team, but also because this season have been running so smooth and fast. Just amazing work! Thank you for making what has to undoubtedly be the best browser-based multiplayer game in the world!
In the end, I'll just type 3 words to sum up the season:
Lavoine - Freaking beast.... |

Congrats to all the promoting teams and big congrats to Selwink, happy to see some of my most favourite teams in CT and their cool managers making it. PCT is the toughest divison of them all, managing wise, so make sure you are ready during off season.
Good to see former riders of Metinvest like Rabon or Van Wyk going strong for their managers. And lovelyy to see two teams with polish presence making the cut.

How close was that!
Massive congratulations to Selwink! For a team most people didn't think could crack the top 5, taking out the top spot is fantastic. Sereb and Rabon were both great for you this season.
Still surprised to see that the CT was dominated by sprinters, Lavoine, Serebriakov, Mathews, Richeze and Kuboki. Also surprised that our top point scorer was a sprinter! Woudln't have picked that at the start of the season.
I'm elated to have promoted in our first season! During the pre-season we were being tipped for a podium and I wasn't sure at all that we'd make the top 10 with some of the gambles I made during race planning (especially not racing during the mid-season). We only just scraped in infront of Atlantius' team who really gave us a run for our money during the last couple of races, was surprised they didn't jump us in the end. Happy to have them most likely promote as well, as well as Generali and others.
Also happy to see Strava in 2nd, it was theirs to lose most of the season and in the end Novatek were too good. But what a team! Incredible versatility and very dynamic, good to see them go straight to PCT in their first season. Fablok had a great season too, Lavoine being the buy of the year for sure. When he wasn't winning, there was always another member of the team stepping up and taking a victory somewhere. Very consistent. And very happy that Compal are back up to a higher division where they belong. Next year will be great having all(?) Asian teams in the MG besides Sauber in the PCT. Hopefully we can work together in the off-season and make sure that we all stay out of trouble during the season!
Overall very happy with our first season in the MG, happy with the initial planning (although it could use some work) and happy with how it all turned out. I would have been happy if we finished last, just being a part of something like this is worth it in the end.
Thanks to all of the MG team for making our first year as great as it was, the organisation and near flawless execution was incredible. And a special mention to SN - for without you, none of this would be possible.

That was interesting. Band 3 was obviously fantastic and very important for where we finished in CT at the end. Nice little details there SN |

A better band 3 would have been so much for us but I guess that was all down to Zuri.
Also funny that we beat Generalli in these but I guess they used C1 and C2 races well.
Thanks for the stats SN

Thanks for those stats, SN, much appreciated. Looks like it was the C2HC races where we were falling short last season, not managing more than 200 points in a single band despite finishing just outside the top 10.

Thought we were much worse actually! Well Band 1 was even before the stsrt of the year the one we were aiming to base off our possible promotion, and so we did. Although, I have to note we scored in the exact races I expected to lose some terrain, before the transfers. Nice statistics SN,, thanks for that

Band 3 didn't quite work out for us as expected. So at least my predictions were right (though I assumed we'd make more points in every band in the end )

From the outside it looks as though band 1 would have suited Strava a little better than it did. If they managed to perform well there they would have taken out CT for sure.
This definitely confirms it, USAPCC saved our season.

Well cobblez are not everything I guess. I don't even start to wonder where I could have made up that 17-18 points to secure the title because it's basically everywhere, such narrow is the margin. Nice to see us taking the C2HC band 'crown' at least.
