Too bad the group of 21 couldn't stay ahead. Wouldn't have minded a bit less competition for Rabon.
I'll take another victory though Hopefully Pozdnyakov can hang on for the next two stages as well.
Yes please

Safe to say this has been a decent race for Novatek already...
Looking forward to the hilly stages now and actually some competition for the wins now

Was so scared with the split, but we got out unscathed. Zeits and Sinkewitz safe in the bunch and Der taking it a step further by deciding that he's a sprinter.
Thanks for the report SN/tsmoha.

De Maar is still working hard. Good effort by Hansen as well. Solid stage for Carlsberg. Thanks for the report.

I was worried when the 21 man group went away, but glad it all came back together. No time loses for Cherel going into the hillier stages

Durasek now is the time to show your true power, can't wait to see if he battles for victory in this ITT NC later in the race.
Would've been nice to be in the break, but Vicelich haven't lost any time yet, which he has done every single stage in other races xD

Disappointing to see Peterson lose 4 minutes early on. Good that Wynants was in the break though |

Sorry for not posting earlier. Had my hopes placed on Sørensn-Samoilev to put numbers to good use here.
The first two stages went as planned: Quiet. Though I was surprised to see my best rider beaten by two control riders on the first stage
Stage 3 was surprising to say the least. CAS being crap but Samoilev being utterly amazing. Really great ride by the Belarussian. Now I just hope he can get some decent support in defending his lead.

Der and Samiolev get away, a bit annoyed that he lost the sprint. Especially considering he had 16 more sprinting points then him.
It takes Zeits and Sinkewitz out of most contention unless they really attack (also cool that Zeits won the bunch sprint ), but it also means that Der, who is also the best TTist of the contenders (if I'm not mistaken) is now is serious contention and he actually has a better hill stat than Samoilev (but if that counts like hill stat it won't matter )
Hopefully we can still win this.
Thanks SN/tsmoha.

Disappointing from Cherel and Gougeard - had hoped on the climb when some big names went clear - hopes of a Top10 on GC will be tight, however, Gougeard just needs + 1'14 for the U25 classification...

Nice performaces by the team so far with abdallah's 3rd on stage 1
Rosskopf in 11th place in the gc is nice right before the tt where hopefully he'll perform well |

It had to end somewhere Bit of a shame to see Der and Samoilev getting such a big gap, maybe some more collaboration within the team had helped. Hopefully Rabon or Pozdnyakov makes a great effort next stage to retake the GC lead.
Thanks for the reports so far

Exactly
Well I'm disappointed from one side and happy from the other because of the fact Molard tried to limit the damage.
Hoping in a miracle from him in the next stages, 1'17" is still possible to reduce!
Thanks tsmoha/sn.

Durasek not bad, but not good enough either
Only positive thing is that he's our leader according to the game and can only hope for a better next stage
