Wow, nice couple of unexpected and surprising results by Danacik and Ghyselinck!

Right thats got that out of the way.
I heard that the stage was nuetralised so time gaps meaningless - that was here right?

Great Start to the race. Spilak performer better than feared here. 40 seconds should be achievable to get on Phinney on stage 3, and I hope that Coppel can keep the leaders Jersey until then. If all goes according to plan, then we will have the leaders jersey from start to finish, but things rarely goes according to plan.
I have a win goal here, so Spilak have to win, and not get another 2nd place. A stagewin from him in the proces would be highly appreciated aswell.

Great result for Tenorio. Hopefully the climbers who lost a lot of time (Alarcon, Denifl, ...) don't go on early attacks and gain over 5min, Giro-style.

Congrats to Festina, deserved stage win. And thanks for the report Roturn.
Metinvest is here with 2nd tier lineup, but good start for Karnulin who is aiming for a top20 overall. Also Guardini can hopefully do a couple of top10s, we dont expect more really.
Madrazo ouch, i suspect Alak is already regreting a bit not sending him to Tour instead of some of these one week stage races...

Much needed decent performance from Guerao. Bit of a strange one sprint train situation probably a better situation for him to try and come from that position.
Goss could have won that also - nice win for Bechorovka.
Much sympathy for Meiji - it does seem a strange feature that one of the top 8 sprinters just does not sprint for no real reason.

No sprinters here, so no result either. Nepomnyachsniy and Krasnoperov nicely placed in the pack, maybe I can hope for a semi-decent GC

Remove the sentence "Goss could have won" and I'm happy
Nice 3-6 on the stage, even though it's a pity Goss got beaten by Howard despite catching his wheel earlier in the sprint.

Howard! Nice to see my team at least attempted for a sprint train and it clearly paid off. I am so happy that my big off-season investment brings me finally some really decent points. Nice win.

Congrats Roman! Keeping things close - I would have prefered you not winning anything here so I could get in the lead
Coppel is a sneaky basterd here. Nice try, but even better to get one point for the points jersey. He will lose it to Phinney tomorrow, but might still be 2nd if lucky.

Very good prologue from Kolesnikov (11th) and Trusov being in the mass sprint (12th) makes it two good stages for Tinkoff. Now let's see what the Swiss Alps will bring us.

Strong TT by the team, curious if Cataldo can stay in the top 20 till the end. Unfortunately the opportunity was missed to show our colours the second day.

8th is decent for Guardini, but he was looking for a top5 and ran out of the gas in the end, so not the ideal outcome.
Congrats Roman, Howard finally proved he learnt something prior to the season.

Good to see Van der Lijke join the trains. Stage 4 should suit him more if he does the same.

Pretty tough time trial in terms of time splits. Reasonable performance by Dekker, though.
And Martin Pedersen sprinting to 4th despite no train is very well done. Just what we need. Every point counts |

Very decent stage there with my climbers all close to eachother around the 30th/35th places, meaning we're 2nd in the team standings now, which is weird when 28 riders are better than my first one... Nepomnyachsniy still looking decent enough in the GC, and also Krasnoperov is doing well, at least to his standards.

What a great game PCM14 is turning out to be. I didn't even get the shortest end of the stick, Denifl got it much worse. Yet riders like Fothen & Martin are ending with Madrazo & Spilak.

Longe range attacks seems to be the way to go - Go Jose!
Shame some big guns keeps losing out though

Some big losses due to passive racing. Morton at least with a sign of something, couldn't expect much more. Hoping for some more selection though, a Top-15 is doable. Most important: good daily form in the mountain TT!
