A day in the break for Gallopin which was nice to see - shame he couldn't get enough points for KoM. Really hoping for him to go again and try and claim the jersey. The stage looked brutal though!
Thanks Rider as always

Shame to see that Signorini was probably weakened due to the wind and hills early on in the stage. Such is life of a rider with 1-D stats! Anacona looking strong as expected and surprisingly Kudus up there as well. The next stage should be a good one for sure.
Thanks again for the report.

Was reading through the report thinking: 'Oh here we go again, Godoy dropped early and Weber struggling, guess it's just a futile attack from Orozco, so the win at the end came as a very pleasant surprise! Pretty hilarious that he got that win from the break on the basis of his downhilling and sprinting skills - both of which are terrible! Nevertheless a win is a win, and a much-needed one too

I was about to question my existence at this race again, before I realized the Schoffmann is doing better here than Koep is in Langkawi...

Stage 1 went smoothly as it was supposed to. Nice to see the boys protecting Winner so well.
Pretty happy with how they rode stage 2 as well. Good to gain some time on many of the biggest rivals before the big stage coming up. With such a bad acceleration this is the way to do things for Anacona. Good to see CAS and Samoilev being up there about as well.
Thanks for some nice reports.

I did not expect Feillu to be 7th here in the GC, considering all the strong names behind him
We did not have anything to go for in the start and now we can hope to maintain our Top 10 finish till the end

I had hoped for the break, but instead it is a nothing stage for the Sodexo boys
Thanks for the report again

Stage 2? Nice I guess with Finetto catching yet another top 10.
But the best quote is this " Generali - Kronenbourg 1664 round out Anacona's terrible day by having two of their riders beat him at the finish."
At least a decent mention for our team
Doesn't happen any day to drop Anacona in a MTF
Sorry Atlantius but that's our only consolation
Thanks for the detailed reports The Rider!

Dyachenko does about what we expected hm to do. We hoped for top-5, but a 6th would do also. At least he is aggressive, I like that.
Tomorrow will be hard to predict. I guess a mass sprint, but some of the sprinters may fall off due to the slight hills and high tempo. As long as Dyachenko finish with the pack I guess I'm happy
Thank you for the reports The Rider. I like your written time gaps, helps having some kind of control when there are several splits and many leader groups |

Epic stage. The mountain train Alpina looked mighty strong there. Great team perfomance!
Anacona with seemingly -5 here and Sørensen +5, still a weird result imo. And kinda ironic that Sørensen would probably have gotten the GC-win aswell if Anacona didnt push so hard on the previous mountain stage.
Great reports, the rider!
Oh, and btw: Having the top climber in CT is anything from safe success, I would know that. But it seems to have worked out relatively well from the 78-79 mt guys so far.

Odd stage really. Can't help but be disappointed when the strongest climber does nothing, but it's interesting to see crazy moves like Alpina's team attack.

WHAT A STAGE!! Thanks for a great report The Rider, really did justice to what seemed like some fairly crazy racing!
Obviously I'm ecstatic at the way the team performed today, after Orozco's pretty surprising performance in the last stage I was a little nervous of what would happen today, but the trio of Godoy, Weber and Orozco were amazing! Three in the top 10 of the GC and occupying two places on the podium is beyond my wildest expectations for this race, and it's great to see this as a counterbalance to Forero's absymal struggles in Langkawi. It's a bit of a shame to see some of the top climbers in the race lose so much time from poor AI, I empathise with you as it's happened to me several times before, but in this instance I guess I can't complain!

Thanks people.
Don't try and put too much detail in reports recently, however, that action packed stage 3 definitely needed it. 'Epic Stage; and 'WHAT A STAGE' are exactly what I was thinking of. |

Wow. What a race for Alpina totally dominating the GC.
Quite a pity that some of the strongest climbers were weak on stage 3 when they should have done so much better.
To be honest I just heard of this Hung for the first time ever. |

Pszczolarski getting sixth in a sprint
What a weird race this was, however Feillu got 7th in the GC and that is quite good
No breakaways even though we don't have a sprinter, so that is quite disappointing.
Those South American teams are really OP this season and some of the european teams really need to step up
Thanks for the reports The Rider and Stage 3 was truly EPIC

Just caught up with the two latest stages. What a ride from Alpina there. Surely a shame, that Anacona hadn't the legs, but still quite an epic move. Well needed with Soler's bad luck in Langkawi!
Also great race for Roe. Unexpected GC-result for him and KoM as a nice bonus.
Thanks for the reports!

Woah that's quite some points for Alpina
Finetto consistent all throughout the race, gotta be happy about it as he's doing exactly what he's bound to do with those all 70's stats.
Sad that I didn't top 5 but well had to be expected really... Goal not achieved this time around either but this really hurts and will cost me some money
Well it would hardly be a stage race without a breakaway win!
So true
Thanks for the reports The Rider

Thanks for the congratulations everyone, certainly the best race for us in our history so far and the starkest contrast possible to Langkawi!
Next rankings update will certainly be interesting, although we must have scored quite a lot here scoring barely anything in Langkawi will certainly hurt us.
