Berard should take a Top 10 and I have bought a decent TTT squad to help him.
This will also be the first stage race without a stage win

Curse you, TTTs!
Thankfully it's short so it shouldn't have too much of an impact, but with our awful TTT squad, despite best efforts, that barely deserves 1 star Soler will lose valuable seconds that could prove crucial in deciding top 10 GC places. Hopefully the Alpina riders put in another aggressive performance in the mountains and Soler sparkles again as in San Luis

I was going to celebrate not finishing last, but then I see our GC leaders De Greef and Senni lost extra time. Well, they'll just have to attack now. Either way, don't care, just won Dwars Door Vlaanderen

Ok, pretty happy with that, 15th (equal 14th) and +19 seconds, slightly surprised to see our best TTist Mazur was behind, before I realised it was two seconds.

Of course Berard gets dropped at losses 7 seconds to the rest of the team :/
Also we got beaten by teams with worse TT riders

I really wonder why all the GC contenders got dropped..
But we are still better. We didn't only drop our leader Hirt, but our best TTer in Ignatiev as well

My team joined 2 attacks, can't really explain how it happened

While Koep is about to fulfill the expectations here (being better than the main pack but weaker than the top climbers), he is missing the individual TT here to play his biggest strength.
And Hirt is having a huge season so far. Stat wise Koep should be superior to him despite the obvious acceleration disadvantage.
But still Hirt is a huge overperformer imo.
Let`s hope the next mountain stages see a bit more selection with Koep on the upper side to possibly jump into the top10. |

Domagalaski did alright, maybe a top ten finish is on the cards, but really hoping for a stage victory somewhere.
