Iirc they dont count for any of these two things you mentioned.
Pretty sure it only counts for XP and not race day use. It's also affected by race clashes, but I don't think that is a problem this season.
This is correct. No race day usage for the rider and none for the team.

Just as last year (if I recall correctly), I can't open the .xlsm file.
Almost the same here (with open office).
At least I can open the file, but 'Race Points Assigned' and 'Race Days Used' aren't displayed correctly (error message instead). The Race Clash Check button isn't working, too.
Made a screenshot and copied it in the dropbox.

I put my transfers sheet in the Dropbox a couple of days ago (at least it's in there for me, not quite sure how the dropbox thing works tbh as seem to have had a problem or two with synchronising stuff) but haven't received a planner. Have I named it wrong or something? Feel like I've followed all the steps but have probably missed out one minor detail or something.

You've missed the detail that your planner file is already in your Dropbox folder

Had forgotten to take last year's planner out of the folder so assumed it was just that one, but failed to notice the date on the file. I apologise for being so stupid sometimes

Making good progress, but travelling all day tomorrow and half day Wednesday (Belgium here I come!), so likely Wednesday evening before I will be able to submit finalised planner.

Finished and uploaded!
I'm also going to add a new jersey for 2015, replacing the old one, just so I can have matching NC jerseys, I hope that won't be a problem.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I see there are just 8 spots available for the Vuelta España. Is this correct or 9 riders are allowed?

From the stat gains & co thread:
"The team size for all teams in all races is 8 riders. There is a minimum of 6 riders for each race. If you cannot field at least 6 riders, you will not be allowed to take part in the race."

OK, I found the source and solution of my doubt in the Wildcards thread:
It is fine to use the 2014 file: https://www.dropb...ction.xls. I think it might have space for 9 riders for GT races - but as of last year GTs have 8 rider teams, so the 9th space can be ignored.
Thanks Tsmoha

Even though I already planned ahead a lot, I've been really busy since Sunday and will be today as well, so I try to get it in tomorrow. I can't promise it though since I really wanna triple check it this year.

I made my own plan a while ago (before the official planning doc were available), but haven't found the time to transfer data over yet. Won't be able to tonight, might be able to tomorrow. So very busy this week...

Having a very busy work week. Probably wont have time to take a proper look at this before the weekend. Race planning is a crucial part of the season, which shouldn't be rushed by anyone.

The race planning process started with the calendar reveal and goals selections - which was well over a month ago. So you can hardly claim to be rushed!

That doesn't make sense. 4 of my 6 best riders weren't even with the team back then.
Fair enough; I could have started planning when both my transfer sheet and c1/c2 selections were submitted, which is about a week ago. Next year I'll make sure to start immediately after transfers instead of waiting for my race planner.
But still, I think allowing people a week from the moment they receive their planner is a good time frame for such an important aspect of the game.

This. I think that the most important part of the game does not need to be done within a week, given the lenght of the whole season, which is usually a year.
Obviously teams with minimum of changes can be ready even during the transfers, but for example Metinvest has off-loaded 4 of the 5 best riders from last year and have new best four next to Ignatiev. Two weeks of transfers were busy enough for me to lack any real chance to even think about their race days.
With that said, i hope to be done Friday at latest, maybe even today.
