Great work! It felt like we had about half that many wins, so I was a bit surprised to see 11/(12) wins but it is nice! Everyone with more wins than us pretty much had amazing seasons.

Great job!
Decent win rate, but mostly just Pozzovivo. Impressive by Van Stayen though. He would most likely be a monster in the PT as well.

I actually didn't do too horribly in terms of winnings this year. Unfortunately those were all C2 and C2HC stages, which are worth basically nothing.

Fantastic work to get these stats
I thought we would win less races than we did once I first found out how sprinter heavy the PCT became to be.

Top 5 PCT teams at the top and then we are nowhere to be found. Goes to show how consistent we were to be able to finish 6th. Thanks for the interesting stats CA.

Pass of only 2 wins in the first season to 7 on top of a more competitive division only demonstrates the progress made in the team

Amazing piece of work , thnaks a lot CountArach!
Not a good read for Metinvest management though, when is see M.Ford with 2 more stage wins than Ignatiev, i would like to smash something. Secondary stats are useless and wage for Ignatiev is 8! times higher because of them and with half of race days. Ford has 63flat and 55 hill, oh god i have to stop.
Iirc 4 stage wins from Ignatiev came from 3 road stages and just one TT win + also one win from each Ma, Grosu and RaboĆ. I can only hope for more wins next year.
Heineken with incredible duo of Brajkovic and Holloway to put them on top.

We're in the same boat.
2 race and 4 stage wins is pretty bleak for a team finishing 7th.

Finishing around the half way mark was more than we would have expected so i am happy for the Eddie Stobart team |

Great stats, CA!
When looking at it, it does sting a little that Di Maggio has 5 classic wins more then Ulissi, especially when you compare stats/wages.
One little error, we won one more C1 stage then shown, looking at the riders list it should have been Aberasturi also having a C1 stage win.
Okay I've fixed that up.

Thanks for the overview Count
Though I believe there's a mistake. Our only victory was Haga in Algarve, don't know where you get the other one from
Hmmm not sure. I can't really go back and look over it all without rechecking every single race. Are you sure you didn't win another?

I'm quite sure since in the rider's win table it only shows 1 victory by Haga and 1 jersey by Jones...
Anyway, doesn't really matter that much, we'll only drop even further to the bottom

When your sprinter duo of 79/80 and 80/77 picks up a total of 1(!) win it's unsurprising we're near the bottom

Hmmm you didn't win a TTT at any point did you? They aren't included in the individual rider lists.

Count, thanks again for the immense work but I spotted one thing that need correction and one clarification
In the first table, the total for "C1 st" is wrong because we got 3 stages instead of 5.
Vuelta al Tachira - S8 - Magno Nazaret
Tour of Taiwan - S5 - Carlos Betancourt
Tour des Pays de Savoie - S4 - Magno Nazaret
I checked in the riders table and it's correct in there.
Then, in the table of CT (C2HC and C2). Two "C2 St" are missing (the ones that have Lejman in the individual ranking)
So at the end is just transfer 2 stage wins from C1 to C2.
Also I wanted to ask how the tied jerseys are counted in the table. Gonzalo tied with Brajkovic in the Giro del Trentino for the points. It was a goal for us and SN confirmed that it will be treated as completed. If it's too messy don't worry.
Another thing I wanted to ask you is just to confirm that you didn't take into account the youth jerseys (I had a handful of those this year )
Thanks again!

The millions paid for Holloway were well spent, as was the wage hit for Brajkovic. This was easily my teams best season. I didn't expect Brajkovic to do as well as he did. 18 wins between those two is quite a chunk.

Great work Count. All the various statistics and analysis that comes out post- and then pre-season certainly adds a lot of depth to the MG experience.

Well, sorry for bumping but...
Can someone please tell me in which race did my team win a secondary classification (points or mountain)?
Thanks. |
