A few Alpina riders on the list which is nice to see, especially having three in the Elite RR, although we are unlikely to achieve much. Nevertheless I am looking forward to the races and seeing what happens!

I have a good amout of riders here. Hopefully one or two of them will find their way into a break.
Great to have Finland here but sad that the best Finnish rider have been abandoned by his manager...

Pfff Razzie's got this in the bag. Easy. As long as he makes sure his teammates know this is happening.
I have a few guy here which is nice. Hoping they can show themselves in their respective disciplines.
I love this betting! Great addition!

I'm really looking forward to what the Italian team can do. They're all leaders, but overall it looks like the most talented team and they've got quite a few different cards to play.
I also hope Aberasturi can be of help for the Spanish team. Too bad Santader riders aren't riding, as they would have really helped for the Spanish TTT squad.

Seems like the only way to get riders in the A-worlds will be to win this one. Shame all "my" national teams sucks on this terrain. Go Kazakh breakaway! |

If this race will finish in mass sprint, then it should be decided probably between New Zealand (Bewley), Italy (??), Great Britain (Swift), Germany (??) and Belgium (??). With so many contenders I´m curious which team won´t build their own sprint train. Let the best rider win!

As long as you mean Polychronis Tzortzakis I would be okay with Ulanowski losing

Nice to see quite strong Czech and Slovak team in B-Worlds, I really hope Hochmann or Sagan could surprise there!
Elite RR? Bewley made the team, nice thing to see.

Would be great to see this Aussie TTT squad taking it Guys should know how to ride a TTT together... Not sure what to expect from Goss later on, but too early to talk about the Elite RR. As for the B's: hoping for at least one of our guys to show himself. I kinda fancy Wen Hao Li's chances when it comes to a large bunch battling it out. Might be someone for a gutsy late move?!
Since we had him on loan back in 2012 (iirc), I will cheer for G Tzortzakis as well
Had a busy week and couldn't yet catch up 100% with all the recent action/updates/work behind the scenes and stuff. So thanks to particularly Oleg, Count and SN for the Worlds' stuff. And Gusta

Well...my ability to jinx things has been proven quite often recently, so I'm not sure how in-depth I should make this post.
Ciolek obviously in a very strong team, but that could easily backfire if Mohs becomes the leader for some reason (sorry beagle, but hill stat...).
It'll be interesting to see who Belgium is going for as my first thought with that route was Van Stayen, but that was only until I remembered Boonen. Very interesting story to unfold in that team.
Not going into detail of the main race yet though.
Bontenackels is our only contribution to the TTT but without Fiedler, this will be a very tough task.
Lander is in the B-Worlds for Puma and I do fancy his chances for a lower Top 10 if there's no coordination within the Danish team, or a good train contribution if there is some.
U23 TT should be another chance for a medal for Sütterlin, although he still suffers from my xp mishap and could really give Zmorka a good run for his money with that +3 TT I fucked up.
Kelderman will probably not be there to defend his title, although I hope some of my young Germans will be.
Go Silvio!!

Theres a few riders that will take part in both the Worlds and B Worlds, which is nice to see, will be cheering on the British team for a win and I hope we'll see one of my riders win a jersey (not likely!)

I'm interested to see if any of my riders will feature in the RR. That's the only place I've got a realistic chance of podiuming (I would say wining, but I think I'd jinx it...)
Guarnieri, Ponzi and outsider Luke Rowe are my best bets.

Happy to see 11 riders in the world but no one can do much tbh...
I will cheer for the polish to don't be the last in the TTT.

Hoping for a result in the B Worlds mostly, but I think Napo has a shot in the main race, but Italy has probably the strongest team, so it will be interesting to see how everything plays out for them.

So close for Vesely, that would be huge win for Czech Republic, also nice 11th for our man Raboň.
Congrats to Richeze and his team, Argentina with deserved win, also Greece was really strong.
Thanks for the report SN, now to the U23 races i suppose?

This looks to be a course for the sprinters then. Shame not to see Sri Lanka in the break, but then again it's always difficult with only 3 pretty weak riders. We'll be back
Also good to see Altanzul showing himself, though that Mongolian train seemed to be in reverse order. This would be a nigh on perfect course for him when maxed. Great win for Richeze though, and as a result Diaz makes the main field which is a pleasant surprise.
Thanks for the report SN, a great read throughout

Totally missed that the B-Worlds were already that far to be posted.
Great race it was. In the end I was cheering for Vesely as he was my rider in my debut season (loaned out by Milka). So close but also Richeze a deserved winner. Good to see it was a sprint even though Kvist was really giving them a fight. |
